Tea King is a small boba shop with a good variety of tea, including Tie Guan Ying, and Four Seasons Tea. They kind of straddle that space between a full fledged tea house and a run-of-the-mill boba shop. They pre-brew two of their most popular teas, but if you order some others, I believe they fresh brew it in an espresso machine (I can't confirm this, but given that they have an espresso machine behind they counter, it would make sense). I got one drink, the store special, as I always do when I go for the first time to any boba place:TK Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.30) - This is a pre-brewed black and oolong tea blend. They add sugar syrup and half and half as they make your drink. The tea flavor comes through, just a classic black-type tea, with a bit of pleasing astringency to round things out. The boba is pretty hard in this drink and as a result, doesn't have a great chew. The boba texture isn't the best here, but I trust that their tea has good flavor. I would go again if I'm ever in the area again to try their other teas. This was more of a 3.5/5 type of drink, but I'm rounding up to a 4.

On a lovely 85 degree Saturday, I was craving something cold and sweet so I stopped by tea king for the first time. As I walked in, I saw their special "cloud series" so I decided to try the brown sugar drink and I'm glad I did! I got it at 100% sweetness which was great for me. The milk was very well flavored, and the consistency and taste of the boba was perfect! The shop was also not busy, with only one other person there at the same time, so I got my drink quite quickly, within 5 min. There appears to be no seating (other than benches) so a great place to grab and go. Will stop by again!

There are very few boba places in Seattle that I truly like, and Tea King happens to be in that list! Located off of Dexter Ave, Tea King is a small boba spot with a high quality menu. I've been here a few times now, and every time my drink has always been good! One of their best drinks I would say is their Sago drinks. The Mango Sago was refreshing and fun to drink! Tea King is in one of the less convenient corners of Seattle to go to, but if you're in the area it's worth trying out! 4.5/5

I can't believe I didn't know about this boba place located in Seattle! This place has been opened for over 2 years and they serve great boba. I got the brown sugar milk drink and it was sweet, savory, and tasteful. I loved my drink and the tapioca was soft and nicely chewy. We also got the mango sago drink. It was a good drink, however, the drink had a lot of the mango's fiber, so it felt like we were drinking some small, thin, plastic strings. The service was good. Our server was nice and answered any questions we had. The boba were made in a timely manner. I enjoyed the ambiance of the boba place. It was nicely decorated with wooden designs and plants. There's room to seat as you wait for your drink, however, not a place where you can relax and enjoy your drink. This is definitely my new go-to boba place!

My friend took us to her favorite boba spot in Seattle! I got the Jasmine Milk Cap Tea with boba which came out to be around $6.50. The boba texture was 10/10 and the tea was pretty bomb too! No complaints here - would come back.

I got the thai milk tea boba. The milk tea itself was good, though the boba was a little on the stiff side. It tasted good, though, so I didn't mind it too much. The location is small with just a few bench seats inside, but they seem to fill out orders fast. We didn't wait for more than 10 minutes and there were a handful of people ahead of us.

An underrated hidden gem in Seattle! My go-to drinks are the taro with fresh milk and rose milk tea! The taro tastes very fresh and delicious. The rose has the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. Never had a bad experience coming here!

One of my favorite boba places in Seattle! They are a pretty small shop with no seating in the Westlake area but the tea is great!I've tried their matcha strawberry latte and a strawberry jasmine milk tea - both of which are really good and I could taste the tea. They also have cute free stickers of their logo and merch as well! Would highly recommend giving them a try if you are in the area!

One of the best bubble tea places in the area. The tea flavor is really good and strong in the drink. Store on the small side but cute and the workers are very nice and accommodating!

Tried this place with my cousins while visiting Seattle. It is a very small shop. Once you head in, the ordering counter is there with a few spots to sit and wait. This is definitely a take it to go kind of shop. They have no restrooms available for the public.I got the mango coco sago. I usually don't enjoy the slushie style drinks, but this one was great. The ice was crushed properly and it was a smooth drink. I got full sugar, but could have gotten 75%. The mango really came through and it tasted good with the sago and lychee jelly mixed in. We had four drink orders and it did take them a while to have the drinks ready.
