Taylor's Shellfish is THE go-to oyster place in Seattle! They have a wide variety of oysters and a great happy hour!First time trying geoduck sashimi and it was so good! Definitely worth checking out since it's not commonly found in other places outside of Seattle.

We were looking for a quick and casual dinner last night and found Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar since it was nearby. It was our first time here and we enjoyed it! For drinks, I ordered the vodka pear collins and it was really good - sweet and refreshing. For food, we ordered oysters as an appetizer and the fish and chips for our main entrees. I'm not an oyster fan so I didn't try those but my family and boyfriend enjoyed them. The fish and chips were yummy! You could tell that the fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Our server was nice as well! Helpful, attentive, and our food came out very fast. Nice ambiance at this spot! Great place to go to if you're craving yummy seafood and to share a meal with loved ones.

Located at Pioneer Square, this little gem serves super fresh oysters, geoducks sashimi, great fish n chips, cold drinks. Grab a spot at the Window and people watch. Super nice waiters and service was excellent. We had a great experience here. Must stop in if you are looking for fresh oysters and a decent drink.

Wow wow wow! Happy I found Taylor Shellfish on my trip to Seattle. Had a party of six so upon arriving we had to wait for about 30 minutes. We were sat at the bar. The staff was super friendly. It was a great experience. The food was all amazing. I've never had fresh sea urchin or geoduck. I was very impressed on how delicious the urchin was. It tasted like butter, recommend trying. The geoduck clam was prepared really good as well. Texture was different but glad I tried it. You have to try the oysters. We went with the chef's choice which was a variety of oysters and oh my were they all amazing. The yellowtail collar was another of my favorite dishes. The sauce it was cooked and tossed in was so good. Fish n chips were also very tasty. Everything was delicious and again the staff was very helpful with the menu and recommendations.

This was an amazing little hole in the wall. One friend and one family member recommended this place to us, and they don't even know each other. So, we had to try, and are so glad we did! We decided to go all out and get their super giant platter - whatever they called it - I believe they referred to it as the wealth platter. A two and a half pound cracked Dungeness crab, a dozen oysters, some geoduck sushi, and smoked oysters. The smoked oysters were served in a can, which was a little disappointing. The rest of it was amazing! They used the body of the crab and the head butter to make a delicious dip for the crab. And, the crap was excellent! They gave us a wide variety of superb oysters, with fun dips. The geoduck sashimi was a big surprise on the plate, simply delectable! Service was very good, even though the place was extremely busy. We came for crab and oysters, and were not disappointed at all!

Overall great experience, the service was amazing and geoduck sashimi was excellent. The fish and chips was a little underwhelming and under seasoned for our liking. Would definitely visit again, oysters were amazing!

When in Seattle this is the place to be for fresh oyster. We got 1 each of the available oysters. Of the 6, Grand cru was the one I liked best. You can tell by texture and taste of each oyster difference. The chowder was delicious. I like more of the soupy like chowders.

Happy hour at this location of Taylor shellfish is outstanding. SO FRESH. Usually four dollars an oyster but the Sunseekers from BC at happy hour were just $2.25. Amazing bottle of cava that was just $30 -- they kept it super cold because we requested an ice bucket. Victor, who is part bartender part server in " actually, we're actually in a double oh my God words or are you kidding me that's thirty five. Oh Victor was the BEST "general garçon" outstanding and personable and very knowledgeable. Our exceptional server Dawn took time to understand what we were looking for. She was great. And camera shy. And remind her to time to come out and deliver a fish and chips. And here are concerns about the lack of dessert. Love that the Christmas decorations are up and this location has that great industrial vibe. Did I mention that service is outstanding? It really is.The only thing that can improve this place is chocolate cake for dessert. You heard it here first. My girlfriend is super smart. Her idea to come here.

We really wanted to get some seafood in Seattle and thought this place looked good; we went for happy hour mid week and it was pretty empty; it's a cool bar/restaurant spot with exposed brick and of course decked out in local photos and maritime stuffService was great and we of course had to try all the things they had; oysters on half shell, smoked oyster dip, shooters, and more. It's always a good measure of the bartender on how good of a martini they make and theirs was perfect.Everything was amazing, fresh, well prepared and quick. I was a bit apprehensive of the smoked oyster dip because I don't usually like cooked oysters but it was really good. They have multiple locations but this was the closest; would definitely go again.

This place is a good but not a must-go seafood place in Seattle. We went here for a late-night dinner last weekend, and it was good but not anything special. It was easy to get a spot as few people were there. For drinks, I got the Copilot, and for the food, we got oysters and fish and chips. The Copilot was not good and very strong; it needed to be mixed better. The oysters were small and very good. The fish and chips had light batter and was the best part of the meal. This place is enormous, with TVs, and it is a great place to watch a game. The servers were nice, fast, and attentive. Overall, I would go to this place again, but I would want to try a different drink. However, I would not go out of my way to try this place.
