I love me a good food truck and Tat's is a great way to get in a yummy, flavorful sandwich. Ordered the Tastrami and Philly Cheesesteak when they parked themselves in front of Ounces in West Seattle on a weekend. The Tatstrami didn't feel too heavy, and I really liked the texture of the crunchy cabbage slaw. I can understand why people order the Tatsrami on the regular since it feels like a different kind of pastrami sandwich. The Philly Cheesesteak was great too, but needed an extra kick of heat and flavor. Overall, I give Tat's a solid 4 stars, and I'd definitely come back.

Authentic east coast, from the bread to the meat to the lettuce. Legit. Fast and friendly, highly recommended.

Got a chance to eat at Tat's truck in West Seattle near best of hands brewery on Saturday. Ordered their Italian Pork Roast and philly cheesesteak sandwiches. The philly cheesesteak was phenomenal while their italian pork roast was okay. The hot sauce was also good and it did add additional flavors to the sandwiches. Service was quick, food was good prices were reasonable, portions were huge. All in all value for money.

Hey YO, for all you knuckle heads that think Philly is the epicenter for all things cheesesteak, well think again!I've been to Geno's , Pat's & Tony Luke's in Philly so Frank knows his cheesesteaks. Now I decided to give these guys a chance so I strolled up to THE FOOD TRUCK for a taste today. At lunch time on the streets of Seattle you can stand 30 people deep in line but it goes fast and most of those folks are taking about themselves I tune them out just thinking about that giant delicious cheese steak about to hit my lip's. Same rules apply here like in Philly and that's know what you want prior or face the wrath.... Let's face it you have time to review the menu while standing in line. Avoiding the stupid questions helps the order taking and a person like and avoids you getting stink eye from the other cheesesteak worshipers waiting to order. Especially me who wants to brain you for being dumb. FRANKS usual standard order is the Philly Steak with extra provolone cheese & sautéed onions ( if you screw this up you should close your shop ) Now I have very high expectations and TAT's TRUCK didn't fail me. My cheese steak was superb. Moist & bursting with flavor and steaming hot so make sure you let it cool down before the roof of your mouth becomes part of your meal. Let's face it when you combine the freshest & finest quality of bread, steak , sautéed onions with cheese then you get the master piece served here.Bring that statue of Rocky Balboa in Philly and place it outside your truck in front of the new church of cheesesteaks!Let the Cheesesteak do the talking!!!

Tat's Truck is in downtown Bellevue on Tuesdays, which makes the FOMO of kickass Seattle food less prominent. I visited at noon, which warranted an impressive line that seemed long, but moved along at a good pace. From entering the line, to receiving my food, the wait time was just under 15 minutes. The employees were very friendly, and once you order, the wait for your food is very short. In fact, there were only about five people in the second line for food. Now let's talk about food... I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which was all sorts of amazing. I'm not a peppers fan, so I omitted that from my order but kept the yummy onions. The portion size is large, meat generous, and overall was a fantastic sandwich. $11.50 for a full and happy belly is well worth the price. Next time I'll have to try their pastrami sandwich.

Seriously, I think the Philly Cheesesteak from Tat's is the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Every aspect of it is phenomenal. The bread is soft and fluffy, the steak is perfectly cooked, the onions and peppers are cooked perfectly, and the cheese is soo good. If you haven't tried this, you need to. I thought the old Paseo made the best sandwich in Seattle before, but now that crown most definitely belongs to Tat's.

Divine.I had the pleasure of catching Tat's Truck in a nearby neighborhood, and my husband and I sampled their two most popular sandwiches: the Tatstrami and the Philly cheesesteak. There is an old ad campaign for an infamous fast food chain that featured celebrities biting into their burgers and having the sauce drip onto them. Tat's sandwiches make you feel like you're actually in one of those commercials, loving every moment as the sauce drizzles down your chin. The bread on both sandwiches is perfect. Toothsome with a cornmeal dusting but moist and gentle against the sandwich fillings. The pastrami is fragrant and tender, and its amped up by its accompaniment of crisp cabbage slaw. The cheesesteak is so juicy, and the cheese is complementary to the steak but doesn't steal the show. As you can see, Tat's sandwiches are incredibly generous with the meat, as well!Pro tip: if you happen to have a bag of French onion Sun chips lying around, eat them with the pastrami. It's symphonic. It's worth mentioning that their staff is super friendly and helpful, too! I cannot wait to find Tat's again in the wild!

The perfect game day food! A must stop, whenever I spot the tats truck at Ounces in West Seattle ( check schedule for locations and times). They are super friendly and have quick service. Tatstami is extremely flavorful, where the coleslaw goes well with the thin sliced pastrami. Philly Cheesesteak is also a great choice with sweet pepper. Ask for the steak sauce.

WOW. For once a food place that was actually WORTH THE HYPE!! I got their Philly cheesesteak and not only was it AWESOME but it was awesome THE NEXT DAY AS WELL cuz I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. Took my daughter, her friend and my mom to the haunted forest and got the sub after our walk thru (which was a super cool scary forest btw...check it out next Halloween!). It was perfectly seasoned, moist and flavorful, large amount and the gentleman at the counter was nice and professional. What a nice concept! A restaurant/food truck that actually appreciates THEIR CUSTOMERS!! Like I said I could not finish my sub so put in fridge for next day and I kid you not...it actually tasted BETTER. Like it just needed a few more hours to "marry" all the flavors and seasoning. Normally I'm not a fan of left over subs...but this was an exception. I know they move their truck around to different locations so give them a google to see if it will be showing up in a neighborhood near you. Even if it were something of a road trip...it would still be worth it!
