Shrimp phoTasty five course rice platterStrawberry sweet tea with bobaThis is our second time here, and we were not disappointed. The five course rice platter came with five proteins, a side of rice and a salad. The strawberry sweet tea was nicely balanced between strawberry tea and sweetness - not too sweet. This is a nice family run restaurant with a very bright, welcoming atmosphere and we will definitely be coming back regularly.

my chicago cousin took me here and said this is one of the best pho spots she's had in illinois. being from OC cali surrounded by viets; i was like that's a big statement. came in and man. SMELLED AUTHENTIC AFRYAN the owner def gave some of the best service and said tell me how my pho taste.ryan; your pho taste GREAT. his broth was flavorful and the noodles were nice and chewy. we ordered the spring rolls (goi cuon) and you can tell it was made fresh. like the grandma in the back dipped the rice noodles fresh in the hot water and then rolled it fresh. ryan also came out with his house spicy satay sauce and i wanted to drink that whole thing up. you should def sell that sauce.would def come here again to eat.

Good food and service. They have a lot of choices to choose from that it's not your ordinary pho place. The place is clean and ambiance is inviting. The parking was okay they can use more parking. It's interesting you know it's family owned and authentic when you see their little kids working at a Vietnamese restaurant. Their son was the hostess and runner lol. Enjoyed the pho but definitely next next time I am going to try their seafood.

So glad we ventured to try Tasty House. Our whole family really enjoyed the ambiance, the service and the FOOD. Go good! We tried a hot pot and some apps. All was terrific. Kids will love the juices. The owner was really kind and spent a lot of time talking to us about the cuisine, different dishes, and sourcing of ingredients. Can't wait to return!

Great service and a nice Vietnamese restaurant Had a crayfish bowl and the mild option was too spicy for me The server offered to replace it with no spices which was very nice of them However, without spices, there are some specific aftertaste of the crayfish and now I realize why they add so much spices I wish they added more corn and potatoes though

Excellent restaurant. First time there with the family was awesome. The kids received popsicles once they finished eating. 5 stars!

My sister recently told me about an Asian restaurant that was absolutely fantastic. She told me that I needed to check it out as soon as possible and that I would absolutely love it. The name of this restaurant is Tasty House #1 in Carol Stream.We ended up going on a Sunday night. The restaurant was completely packed, which is a good sign of a restaurant that serves good food.The owner remembered my sister. He was extremely friendly to her and her family and was happy to meet me. I already had a very good feeling about this place. The level of customer service was fantastic.The main dish that this location is known for is Pho. Pho is a Vietnamese noodle dish with herbs and meats.I went with the make your own Pho. I added brisket, Vietnamese meatballs, and chicken. While we waited for our main dishes, we also ordered egg rolls and spring rolls. The eggrolls and spring rolls were super fresh and delicious. One thing that you definitely need to try when you go here is their hot chilli oil. It is the best hot chilli oil I have ever had. There is a heavy flavor of garlic and the spice is not too spicy.They are also known for making fresh fruit drinks and Boba teas. My favorite flavor is taro. It is a purple potato/Yam that is sweet and delicious, something you need to try.The restaurant seemed to be getting busier as we sat and the owner was very busy serving tables, while one of his workers made fresh fruit drinks for the entire little league baseball team that suddenly walked in. All of this chaos and they never missed a beat.Our main dishes arrive at the table. The Pho came with a side of bean sprouts herbs, such as cilantro and mint amongst other items to add in to your Pho.The broth was so rich and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I was in heaven.We all ate until we were completely full. Six people and the bill was under $200 to eat like kings and queens.I definitely cannot recommend this place enough for you to check out. You will not be sorry. When you stop in please tell them the Chicago Food King sent you.I give a rating of 9 out of 10. This is definitely a place that you need to check out.

I visited again 10 months after my first visit, and our server STILL REMEMBERED US. That's pretty incredible. Service is still fantastic, and this hits all the checkmarks of wholesome, family-run small business. We ordered different items this time, and they were all great. It looks like they keep expanding their menu, which is nice.Banh Mi: One of the few places that still has affordable banh mi. It's only $7-8! I got the BBQ pork (char siu) and it was delicious. Bread was pretty good. Pork was flavorful and rich.Steak and Meatball Pho: $15, which isn't that cheap. However, it's tasty. Vegetables all tasted fresh. The steak and the meatballs were both good. Broth was rich and saltiness was just right.Strawberry Bingsoo ($7.50): I've only had bingsoo in South Korea and Ktown in LA. I don't have much of a frame of reference outside of that. So... this bingsoo obviously doesn't stack up to those, but it's still a nice dessert to order. The strawberry one comes with mochi on top.I love that they keep expanding their dessert menu. This place continues to be great.

We stumbled on Tasty House visiting family. This is the best Pho I have had in a long time! Everything is fresh and authentic. Egg rolls taste like they were made to order. There is a home made spicy oil on the table that compliments the Pho perfectly. We only were able to try the one Pho dish tonight, but I'm sure all the food is fantastic. I had an iced Vietnamese coffee the was the perfect sweetness (most are too over powering). My wife had brown sugar milk tee with Lychee boba. It was also very good. Treat yourself and come here!!

We drive 45 minutes and bypass the Pho restaurant 5-10 minutes away from the house... it's that worth it! The owner is super nice and the food is high quality! I haven't tasted a better Pho place in the Chicago Suburbs.
