Tasty Donuts

Oh what, I haven't written a review for this place yet or posted any photos! This is by far my favorite donut shop!!! My brother who is a donut connoisseur will go out of his way to come get a hold of these donuts as well. I would say it's a little hidden gem (in a plaza with vons and right next to the private gym) - hidden if you didn't know about them already or was specifically searching for donut shops to try. A family owned mom and pop shop. They are always so friendly and welcoming. These are your traditional donuts with a few more unique items like the peanut butter donut, cronuts, & cinnamon lotus. My personal favorite here are their old fashion donuts and maple filled donut bars, they make it the best with quality ingredients! Always perfectly fried/crispy/sweet. Oh and don't forget those donut holes, I can devour a dozen in one seating, Yum!We've had custom made donuts here for several events: my gender reveal, baby shower and daughters 1st birthday. Guest really loved the blueberry & strawberry filled donut holes. Highly recommend!

Great selection. Great quality. Great customer service! This is a donut business that takes pride in all aspects of a quality product and friendly customer service. Also, a great variety of donuts to select from and nice seating inside. You can see from the number of customers who come in and that they are repeat. This is a hidden gem for your donut and other cravings as well. Come and pay a visit, you may become a regular yourself!

I no longer live in San Diego but whenever I come down I make sure to stop at tasty donuts. Not only for myself but for my grandma - she is a huge fan.There's always a huge selection and the donuts always taste fresh. I appreciate the family vibe when I come here. I will continue to come here as long as my grandma loves donuts (which will be forever!!!)I should have taken a photo of all the vibrant donuts- but please look at this Mulan mask I bought there! I had no intention of buying a mask when I came by but I couldn't help looking at all the cute designs and this one happens to fit me perfectly and is so so comfy. I have too many masks but I just had to buy this one. Next time I get donuts I'm getting another one especially knowing how well they fit me :)

Always get half a dozen here. I always ask if there's filling in some of their donuts and if it doesn't have, they fill it up for you. Service is always on point here and I just like this place.

Got a cheese danish and croissant. Both were delicious and I could tell they were freshly baked. The woman who runs the shop is also lovely. I'll return.

Amazing custom donuts for my son's Pokemon themed 1st birthday party! We got four different characters and got so many compliments from our guests.

One of my top favorite donut mom and pop donut shops! Came here on a whim and so glad I did. I ordered the crumb donut and the old fashioned donut. They are so fluffy and not too sweet! Had a craving and came back again the next week hahaha!

Recently hosted an event at work! The donuts were a hit!!! Absolutely delicious! The apples fritters and cinnamon rolls were my faves!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. John and his wife remind me of my parents. Hardworking and honest (also blunt). Haha. Love supporting local businesses! Will definitely be back for more!
