Chill spacious spot for those needing a quick affordable congenial Cajun seafood fix in the Austell area.Host v welcoming as u walk in;Plenty of space and booths on the inside, bar v casual, bartenders on it and v cordial, not loud or extravagant, one Tv showin' mindless ball.The clam chowder v tasty and v standard; right what ud expect w a 'Chili's' type pad. ;Certainly could jack it up a bit on the hot sauce choices, Tabasco & Texas Pete don't cut it no mo ;)No tap/draft bev's; standard choices on the bouteille- Bud, Coors, Corona, .. etc.. ..Plates come right out of the oven/fryer, so be prepared for a piping hott fresh Tasty scrumptious meal; waitstaff available and helpful, certainly don't crowd u :)

Oysters were huge! They were probably the largest I've had here in town. Our server was great, very attentive and on point. The tasty sauce was pretty good as well.

The seafood always tastes fresh. The seasonings used is very flavorful. I enjoy the fact that you can adjust the level of spice without it taking away from the overall flavor.

A nice alternative to cramped Juicy Crab!Customer service: Kimberly was our waitress during our visit. She was delightful and brought us everything that we requested, even my very specific ones. It's nice to be in the hands of a friendly and hardworking waitress :)Food: Totally forgot to take pics of our food. I was hangry. I ordered the Dungeness crab plate and the bf ordered the catfish plate. If you're seeking some crab legs, definitely try this place! They were scrumptious. I ended up loving my bf's dish way better, though! The batter for the catfish is delectable and the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. Parking: The parking here is in a shared lot with other establishments. It was fairly easy for us even on a Sunday at lunch time.Would I recommend? Yes.Will I be back? Not sure, but I wouldn't mind coming back. I had a great experience.

The crab legs are delicious and our server Tracy is amazing. We love the music and the lighting as well as all the cool sharpie writing on the wall. The seasoning on the crab legs extra hot is my favorite! Our favorite Sunday spot!

If you are trying to decide on a crab spot...Tasty Crab is the winner by far! The crab is less salty than others, staff is more friendly, and food comes out in a timely manner. This little spot is tucked right into a mini-mall. I visited yesterday, and damn I'm still full! It didn't look like much when we walked in, to be honest, just a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I'd really have liked to see a more interesting drink menu. That's just me though. I ordered a diet coke, it was fine. Ya'll I can't turn down good food, and that menu. My mouth's still watering! I ordered a seafood boil from the specials menu, and then I ordered some fried oysters and cheese sticks for apps, along with cajun fries! Just for good measure, I threw in the clam chowder too. Don't do that, don't order the chowder. There's better food to be had. Everyone has their forte, and chowder ain't it at the Tasty Crab House. I entertained myself by reading the graffiti on the walls and tagging the Instagrammers that left their art and names on the wall where we sat while we waited for the feast to begin! When the food started hitting that paper-covered table ... Hot damn! Actually ... speaking of HOT, I ordered medium heat. For me, it was PERFECTION. It's that after taste heat you get where it doesn't really burn when it hits your taste buds, but you feel that smooth fire as the food goes down. For my son, nada. He insisted there was no heat at all. My husband on the other hand said it was ON FIRE and burned his gums! I guess that just goes to show, we're all different. Or that my family can't agree on shit. Our boil included crab legs, eggs, sausage.. damn I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it. I tore up those leftovers already, so that's not an option... Everything was FANTASTIC. I mean I do not love that you have to peel your own shrimp, but that seems to be a common thing in Georgia. Good news though! You CAN order your shrimp pre-beheaded, and ya'll I appreciate that! No way surrreeeehbob could I eat a shrimp that i had to behead, that's the sole reason I don't order the crawfish! Our server was pretty bomb, we would've appreciated more refills, what with that firey medium sauce n all haha... but overall, a great place with fun-filled graffiti-covered walls in the restaurant, and not one drop of ink on the bathroom walls!

I tried Tasty Crab for the first time. I was not impressed. The crab legs were so small. I did not care for this seafood boil.

Well, if I had written a review prior to tonight it would have been 4 stars. I generally order my food to go (mainly) or via GrubHub (late work night and can't leave home).But tonight, Saturday 9/11/2021 decided I wanted to sit and eat in the restaurant and perhaps actually slowly eat and enjoy my meal along with a light libation. My fave is shrimp. No head in tasty special medium and extra corn. I like the tasty wings mild or medium too. Well, that didnt happen!As I was being seated, Young lady tells her boss to put me another section because it wasn't her turn and since it was slow night both will have opportunities.Ok.So I sit there. No one shows up. Another customer comes in and was seated at the table the manager/owner was going to originally seat me. And she is immediately served. Well, I declare. I sit another 2 minutes to see what time Red Lobster closes. Someone will appreciate my $20+ order and tip. As I was leaving I told another manager why I was leaving. Original server who didn't want me in her section runs up and says I'll serve you.I'm good. Apparently, you really didn't need the $. The restaurant only had 6 other people by the time i was seated. I'm in Red Lobster writing this review sipping on a Mojito, savoring my Salmon salad and stuffed Mushrooms.I'll stick to takeout next time Tasty Crab.

Awesome customer service, great food, intriguing atmosphere. Great place for family and or friends celebrating or just good vibes some music and a meal
