I needed to grab a quick dinner, and had been wanting to try this place. I got the Hot Oil Pulled Noodles and added the minced pork and the Grilled Intestine Skewers, and my bf got the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. And we really enjoyed it. I really really liked the Hot Oil Pulled Noodles. It was so tasty for being so simple. I added my own chili oil to make it spicy. The noodle texture was great. And it wasn't too oily for being the oil noodles. And the intestine skewers were tasty too, although I'd prefer it to be crispier. Will definitely try more things from here.

Toasted bun with pork. Little sour, little spicy, little salty. High quality pork simmered and paired with unleavened bread. Unleavened bread wont get soggy. Large portion size. 1 is my limit. Would have preferred half size. Very filling with bread and meat. Much murw substantial than burger. They make orders fresh on order. Bery dense and filling since the doigh doesnt compress. Like eating a thick unrisen pizza crust. No problem with price. Good to keep you warm during the long snowy winters of northern chinaWomen working there very sweet. Low reviews not accurate. They could make smaller versions and charge 60 percent of the price. Hard to finish thst amount of meat if there are other appetizers

The pulled noodles were around $12-$13 each. The lamb kabobs were good, a bit too salty but perhaps because I got them spicy. Those were $14 for 10 skewers. I thought it was a bit expensive for the amount of meat on each stick. The noodles were excellent texture but considering it's fast food, it was pricey. The service was excellent-very courteous and very fast.Location Is right in the Asian Supermarket, super convenient for before and after grocery run!

Summary: decent food albeit rather expensive, we spent $51 for 3 dishes. We ordered delivery through Doordash so I cannot speak to the service or ambiance of the actual restaurant. The Qishan noodles were rather sour, so heads up for anyone who isn't into sour food! Our chicken fried rice was delicious, but rather greasy, and the pork feet were so dry and tough it hurt to eat. Pros: * authentic Xi'an Chinese food (per my friend from that region)* well spiced, good flavors* decent middle sized portionsCons:* pricey for rather simple food* not sure if we had any ground pork in our "Qishan noodles with ground pork"; it was only noodles and some onion* pig feet are more dry and tough than fried and crispy, seasoning flew everywhere as we ate haha so prepare for quite the mess

- A bit pricy but the taste is fine -We usually order noodles here or hua xi, and both places are good. You can also order boba tea from Mr. Wish while you are here to go with your meal. One thing though, this place stopped displaying the progress of your order on the screen and you will only know when your order is ready by text. But guess what? I never received the text and we waited for an extra.. 5-10 minutes. Then two hours later, my text came. You just gotta stay close to the cashier and ask for progress if you've been waiting for maybe 10 minutes.

Surprisingly good considering the food court setup. Their meats are well-seasoned and the sauces are stacked with flavor! Fresh noodles make for a bouncy chew and everything is served up fresh. Westlake has transformed over the years and it's nice to see some great traditional restaurants coming in.

Located in the Asian Family Market, Taste of Xi'an is one of 4 different restaurants inside the small food court. It has plenty of shared seating, and was quite busy when we got there for lunch. You place your order via mobile or 2 kiosks in the front, pay for it, and then give your cell number so they can text you as each dish is ready. The dishes seem authentic, using lamb as the primary meat, with hand-made noodles being a big part of a large number of dishes. Our daughter was treating, and we ended up ordering a variety of dishes. In summary, the portions were small (compared to how much you were paying), and the taste ranged from meh to OK.Water is self-serve, with both warm and cold water provided (though the cold water pitcher was empty). Since each dish was ready separately, it's up to you to grab each dish immediately as it comes out. I had to find some extra take out containers so we could share the meal family style.Toasted Bun w. Pork ($7.99) - reminded me of shredded pork, on a decent bao with chili crisp as the seasoning.Pulled Noodle with Assorted Lamb pieces ($12.99) - decent amount of irregular noodles, which I really liked. But the broth was very bland, and the pieces of lamb meat were all very small pieces, sliced thinly. It just wasn't very satisfying, and I ended up throwing the broth away.Shrimp fried rice ($12.99) - tasty, well executed.Dried Green Beans ($13.99) - tons of garlic, and cooked in a hot wok to get that wrinkled skin that I love.Stir fried Noodles with Beef ($14.99) - loved the hand pulled noodles, and the sauce was good. Not much meat or veggies. We couldn't finish all the food. Since the dishes were already in to-go containers, we just needed lids, which were provided once you asked. Everything is self-serve, so no need to tip (even though it is asked for).
