Perfection on all counts. Ambience, service, presentation, quality of dishes. The momo varieties were phenomenal. Main dishes were superb, especially the lamb hakka noodles, chicken tikka tandoori, dal tadka, and palak paneer.The only change I would make would be to add a little something to the rice pudding - the gulab jaman and ras malai were perfect.Easy parking, low noise level, comfortable, spacious seating, very friendly overall. We'll be regulars.

I was really excited to try this place out when I saw the menu. I liked that they had a range of cuisine types. Indian is great, but it was interesting trying out some Himalayan dishes too! I found the Lukshya ko Momos to be tasty, but nothing especially exciting. The Chicken Tikka Masala was very standard and the Lamb Tarkari had a nice flavor.The restaurant is very bright and colorful, but not especially upscale. It's a good place to grab a bite, maybe with friends or family. I would prefer to visit this type of spot on a weeknight, since it's on the more casual side. The service was solid and our waiter was happy to answer questions about the menu. I wouldn't come out of my way to visit again, but no complaints!

I often had this to go but sat at the restaurant once. It's casual and they serve alcohol too. Food is excellent of course but the waiting time is long. So prepare yourself and don't come here hungry.

The 911 sauce here is absolutely killer!! We tried the different Momos, including the chicken with the Momo sauce. I don't think that it was anything special, but had some good flavor. The restaurant itself in the interior, when picking up the food seemed to have pretty cool vibes and would be a nice place I think to stop by and try when you are looking for a nearby South Asian meal. I got an extra side of sauce, CD9 on one sauce, which had a heat flavor and profile like nothing that I've ever had--it really is as if you need to call 911!

I was a fan of Saffron and ate there frequently when I was in the area. I'm glad to see this reboot, with its modified menu, which I think was exactly the right thing to do. The food is just as good, if not better. There are several new dishes, and oh those momos. The flavors are excellent, the spice levels are appropriate for your request, and everything tastes very fresh. I'm also a fan of the new Tree House across the street, which allows you to bring in your own food from nearby restaurants. A beer at Tree House paired with a meal from Taste of the Himalayas is, for me, a wonderful combination.

We really enjoyed Saffron, but this doesn't have the same affect on us as Saffron did. The food was fine, but it's kind of expensive and there is never enough rice. We were kind of bummed because we love having an Indian food restaurant near us, but we most likely won't be back.

Our second dinner at this spectacular restaurant was even better than the first last month. We brought family from ages 25 to 85 and everyone LOVED it.New dishes we tried were the kerau paneer, the bhanta ra chicken, and the khukura ko masu--each one more delicious than the last! We also ordered one each of the kheer rice pudding, the gulab jamun, the mango kulfi, and the coconut and ginger ice creams. The six of us polished off every last bite of everything.Service was outstanding.Some in our party have lived in the area for decades and said this is their new favorite restaurant! Can't wait to go back!

I recently tried the chicken Momos to go at this restaurant, and they were fantastic. The perfect blend of flavors and the tender chicken filling made them a delightful treat. I walked in and placed a take out order, Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan. It was a very cozy and cute place, and very clean. The hostess was so nice and told the kitchen that I was waiting (as opposed to a call in order where there would be a drive time) and they had it out super fast. Everything tasted great, the naan was soft and flavorful without being overly oily. I will definitely order again!
