Best. Fucking. Bagels. In. Chicago. The lox is particularly excellent. I mean look at how beautiful it is. Staff are friendly and efficient. The ambience is chill, they only play covers of popular songs, which is silly and I like it. Oh and it's sunny in there.

I visited the this spot on my way to do some errands recently, and they give a great bang for your buck! I got the rainbow bagel with brown sugar & cinnamon cream cheese. They give you a ton of cream cheese and the bagels are toasted perfectly. The shop smells incredible, and there are so many options to choose from. If you go during non-busy hours, the chances of getting your bagel in under 2 minutes are almost 100%. It was very quick service and they also have a giant drink wall to choose from

The word nostalgia comes to mind when I come to this bagel store. The décor brings back so many memories of New York City. Growing up in NYC allows me to eat some of the world's best bagels. Any New Yorker will recommend certain bagel stores. Taste of New York does just that. They serve fresh bagels. The flavors range from cinnamon raisin (my favorite), wheat, everything, plain, egg and many more flavors. The cinnamon raisin tastes absolutely divine. It pairs well with the Snapple (ice tea lemon flavored). Upon discovering Taste of New York sells the lemon flavor, that surprised me. The service rates an A+. Fast, and convenient, the staff does a fabulous job. Come to Taste of New York. Bring friends, family, and even family.

Awesome bagel place! Tried the Zaatar, Strawberry, and Jalapeno fillings - all good, but Jalapeno was the best! They don't skimp on the fillings either. Their staff is also nice and helpful. Definitely going back!

We had a little too much to drink the night before and needed bagels, ASAP. We ordered for delivery (which was very fast!). We enjoyed the bagel sandwiches and the price (not too shabby!). I wish the bagel wasn't as hard.

They have good bagels. But what I can't live with out is the jalapeño cream cheese. I've only been here once, but it's life changing and I can't stop thinking about it! Their chive cream cheese is pretty good too, but it's nothing compared to the jalapeño. I wasn't sure if I would like it so I bought a small (enough for one bagel) serving, but I wish I'd gotten the larger size of the jalapeño instead of the chive.I only wish they were closer. I went their early (7:45 am) and they were out of some of the bagels already (I'd really wanted to try the wheat). That was a surprise.... Anyway, whilst they're not terribly far away relatively speaking, driving the ~3 miles down there feels like forever because it's along Clark the whole way. I may stop again when I'm on my way to work since the parking was beautiful then too. I think my favorite were the onion bagel (not sure I've ever had one of those, honestly) and the cinnamon raisin.The guy who helped me was pleasant; not boisterously or annoyingly chipper for the morning but not rude either. I ordered a bagel sandwich and was glad to watch him crack the eggs right then and there. The sandwich was ok; the cheese wasn't the best but American is a terrible cheese; I totally glossed over that or I would probably have skipped cheese on it. But it wasn't terribly expensive and I can't say I wouldn't get one in the future.

Update!!!! This is and will remain my go to bagel shop. Great product great people and a fair price. Stopped at a pop up bagel shop today and paid $7 for a bagel with a shmear. WTF. I've tried every bagel In the city and am done chasing. Taste is my one and only now. Keep up the good work guys

I genuinely think this is the best bagel sandwich that I have had in Chicago. It was big, they loaded on the cream cheese, the bagel was fluffy, the everything seasoning was good, and they gave you good amount on egg and meat. Plus it was a reasonable price, even after adding cream cheese! Highly recommend the Bushwick. The guy who checked us out also brought our water cups over (with ice) and brought over our sandwiches when they were ready.

Best bagel in Chicago, i love the lox bagel "New Yorker" it's delish. Just make sure one of the Turkish guys makes your bagel, the white guy is not as good at making bagels. The coffee is bad, but the bagels are bomb AF.
