Taste Of Jamaica

Jamaican food...but you si mi dying trial...is wah dis? This should be called the taste of NOT JAMAICA because no Jamaican would claim this. I ordered the stew peas and was looking forward to it because it's one of my favorite dishes. I was truly disappointed. The stew was congieled on top of rice that was crunchy and tasted stale. The stew was totally unappetizing and not edible at all. Mi vex...because this is not right, you cannot serve food like this to people.

I went here on 10/24/23. I picked up a order for my sister. First time trying this food. The oxtail plate is delicious . They give you a great portion. My sister looked out for me with a plate. I enjoyed the food..

Now this is where it's at, I will gladly do the 30 min drive again, any day. We got the oxtail and the cow feet! Both was so flavorful and tasted amazing. Service was amazing. I highly recommend. They had seatings, so you are able to eat inside as well.

The food is decent. The problem is, it's not Jamaican. Not authentic at all. It will disappoint you if you are looking for carribean flavors. The best part of eating oxtails are the oxtail gravy but this place gravy was not thick or brown it was thin and kinda tasted like barbecue sauce. Also the size of the oxtail small.The cabbage also does not taste Jamaican or carribean.The food was cooked well that's is the reason why I gave it 3 stars. if we are going on Jamaican flavor, I would give it zero stars.

I'm from Miami. This is not good Jamaican Food. Jerk Chicken was not jerkin (Pause). I'm not tripping about the presentation cause that's probably the delivery persons fault. This dish had no flavor at all. I could get this for $6-7 dollars back home. This was not good.

Omg the best Jamaican food I've tasted. My new favorite Jamaican restaurant. We tried the oxtails and the jerk chicken was Amazing!. Also the cocoa bread and beef patty was Amazing!

My friend recommended this place, and he always orders from here. This is one of his go to places and I can understand why, The food is pretty good. We ordered the oxtail, sweet-and-sour, Jamaican meatballs, and the goat Curry. My friend told me to place the order because as a first time customer they would go the extra mile since I was a new customer and would want to impress me. He swears on this for his own personal experiences and has proven his point when other friends of his had ordered from here. When we got our food I asked if they had given more portions than they usually did for him and he was like "yep they did". He definitely wants to order again while I'm here, I guess we better use up my new customer credits first right lol? But I'm down as well. The flavoring was there. Most importantly it's not over seasoned or over salted so another plus for me. Interested in seeing what else they have to offer.

The worst Jamaican food the jerk chicken was stew Hot for no reason ! The so call pattie was dry I Don't know what that food was it was disgusting I threw it out the rice and peas taste like too much water the food was not acceptable. Do Better don't take people hard earn money the rice was soggy the jerk don't even taste like jerk wth

It was good tasty food, nice portions, great presentation. I loved the meal. will order again.will tell friends to eat and order from here!

Love this place!! The Caribbean chicken (sweet then spicy) rice and peas with the Mac and cheese puts me in a coma every time. I eat here twice a week. Dont sleep on the curry chicken and beef patties either.
