This is a neat little hole in the wall bar that has a lot of personality. It is located just off of downtown San Diego's Gaslamp strip. There is metered street parking right out front of the bar. There is also a commercial garage and other metered street parking within a reasonable walking distance. The bar has a small patio area out front, a dining area and a full bar with seating. The bar/dining area is dimly lit and has a bunch of televisions for you to watch. You will also find that it is decorated with draft beer handles on the ceiling and there is a digital juke box and ATM on site. The bar also serves you typical bar food that includes: burritos, burgers, wraps, salads, Philly's, club sandwiches and wings. They have late night happy hour on select food and drinks and the kitchen is open late, which brought me here. The two bartenders working the night of my visit were awesome. They were very friendly and attentive.I ordered some teriyaki sriracha, with a side of lemon pepper fries. It took about 12 minutes for me to get my food and it was fresh and hot. The wings and fries were so delicious. They were packed with flavor. I highly recommend both. They host many pay per view UFC fight viewing parties here too (for a fee). I like this spot. I am glad that I was able to eat diner here. The food was finger licking (literally it was). This bar was very low key and chill. They had sports playing on the television and music playing in the background. I highly recommend checking this spot out.

We went here after a few hours at seaport village and before the padres game. Location is a few blocks away from Petco Park, a bit farther out than most gaslamp restaurants. We just had beers during their happy hour which were well priced, their micheladas were great! $23 for 2 beers + 2 micheladas. They also provided a cash discount! Ambiance is more like a dive bar vs a restaurant.

Forgive the bite in the photo but I couldn't resist trying this place out! Attentive service and solid food. We visited on taco Tuesday and the taco was really good and we even had a welcome shot! The drinks are great as well! Great spot located in the gas lamp district! Definitely stop by!

I went here yesterday with my best friend/maid of honor after my wedding dress fitting for a quick drink and some mozzarella sticks since that what we were craving. We sat outside on their little clean patio, and were quickly greeted by our server, who was very sweet. The food was what you'd expect - we just got some apps to share. The mozzarella sticks are surprisingly large and not what we were expecting, but so good. The marinara you dip them in though is a bit chunky and also watery? But the taste was good. We also got some chips and salsa (nice salting and crunch on the chips), but the salsa was lacking in flavor. We also tried the tots with bacon and cheese - they're exactly what you'd expect, but dipped in ranch they were still pretty good. Drinks were tasty, and prices were fair.

Our pre-Padres game lunch found us at a spot we had never been. Taste and Thirst on 4th Avenue. We walked in a found two seats at the bar. We met our initial bartender, but she was on her way out so we didn't catch her name. She was cool for the short time we knew her.Rae took over as our bartender and what a cute little spitfire she was. Her walk-in/entrance was epic. She even sang along with her intro music using a pint glass as a "microphone". It was great! We were both Jonesing for bar food and Taste & Thirst has plenty to choose from. I chose the TNT Strips & Fries while Becky went with the Nachos to which she added beef.It. Was. A. Lot. Of. Food. A lot!Pro Tip: There is no need to add to the nachos. They already come with beef chili.Pro Tip 2: If there are two of you and you order nachos - you will not need to order anything else.Nachos: Beef Chili, Cheddar & Jack Cheese, Tomato, Jalapeños, Sour Cream.A huge plate of tortilla chips very generously layered with all the fixin's. We loved that it was actually layered, they didn't just plop the chili, etc. on top. It was evenly distributed throughout the dish. The chili was quite good. The Jalapeños gave it a nice kick.TNT Strips: Buffalo Chicken Strips w/ Drizzled Honey Mustard & BBQ Sauce.Three large chicken strips were breaded and fried perfectly. The buffalo sauce gave them good heat. The honey mustard and BBQ sauce drizzle added a sweet/savory element. I really liked these. The leftovers were great coming out of the air fryer at home. The fries were of the thin-cut variety and were tasty. The had a very nice selection of beers for me, but only one brand of seltzer for Becky and only in a 12 oz. can. The brand was, however, Becky Personality Juice Hard Seltzer, which of course, is Becky's favorite! LOL!We'll be back. I want to try the T.J. Dogs...

Pretty good. Was planning to go to Garage but it was closed!! The service here is great tho but I was surprised by the chili on the nachos. Decent happy hour prices tho, but I might try sliders next time. Everyone is so nice and it's a great option I just wish it was a little bit yummier! The service is really great tho.
