My wife & I absolutely loved coming here for brunch! And this is coming from a guy who almost always thinks brunch is too expensive & generic. Not here! You can tell that everything is made fresh and not only is the food absolutely delicious but its a unique experience to enjoy an under-rated cuisine that we're lucky to have from the large Kurdish community here in Nashville. I highly recommend the family size Tashtea Breakfast. You get a little bit of everything. It comes with 2 types of Cheese, 2 types of Olives, Honey & Butter, Tahini & Grape Molasses, matoes, Cucumbers, Watermelon, Yogurt, Sausage, your choice of eggs (I recommend the egs with tomatoes & vegetables), plus a side. We got the Esme with pastry which was my personal favorite. The bread was also fresh and went really well with the egg omelet dish and the esme.If you love tapas-style with reasonable prices (absoltely unheard of in Nashville), you'll love this place!

100% Recommend. If you can adhere to the hours, get ready to have your taste buds blown away. Keep reading. If all the parking spots are taken you can park in the shopping center which has ample parking. Walking a fair distance to your car would be helpful after a very filling meal. Upon entry, the restaurant is clean and modern. I like how they have seating that is low to the ground, but if that's not your thing, they have regular tables too. I got the "sampler" as we would call it. First course came out and I wanted to try their lentil soup. Very great subtle mint flavor. I got an espresso as well and it was big. Like a normal coffee cup size. Second courses came out and there is a big variety. Loved all the flavors and everything. From sweet to savory. Good olives, vegetables, and cheese. Mains came out and the egg was delicious. So was the Sujuk I got tea as well and it was very good. The watermelon was also good. I believe I ate too much. I love supporting local businesses and it was a pleasure to dine here. I even went next door to the newly opened Kabul market. Support our community members!

Phenomenal brunch/lunch and tea spot! The interior is so fun and well-decorated. Service can be a bit slow, but it matches the relaxed setting. We ordered the shared spread for four and shared Kurdish tea. Everything was very fresh and delicious, especially the baklava with a cheesy filling paired with honey dip. Hope this place gets the popularity it deserves!

Everything was so fresh and full of flavor from the rich and bold of the Turkish coffee to the wonderfully fragrant tea! The main event was the beautiful array of offerings paired together to create the Tashtea Breakfast! you get 2 types of cheese, 2 types of olives, some aromatic honey and butter, tahini, and grape molasses with tomato, cucumber, and a very light fresh house made yogurt. A top tier experience in deed! I also enjoyed the fresh Borek pastries! The staff were very kind , generous, and very ready to answer questions and explain things and suggestions for flavor pairings!

Modern-feeling cafe with a homely feel. It was fun to sit low and intimately. Got the breakfast with a friend. Plenty of food, everything was fantastic. The tea and coffee were nice complements to the food. And the baklava was a delicious finisher. Highly recommend this place!!

This place is such an amazing introduction to Kurdish and Turkish culture. The food was absolutely amazing too. On top of that, the restaurant itself had such amazing vibes. The seating areas are super nice as well. The service was amazing too as the waiters had introduced the food and explained how to eat it properly as well. Definitely try the Kurdish tea and coffee!
