Taquero Mucho opened up on the ghost kitchen next to da Jools on Kedzie and Elston in the fall of 2021, and it is a fantastic addition to Avondale. I ordered the carne asada taco dinner via Grub Hub. It was delivered in a flash - 15 minutes - much to my delight. However, I live within a mile so results may vary. The food was as delicious as its velocity. The three tacos are loaded with steak, the rice is light and fluffy and the refried beans creamy and earthy. I look forward to trying the al pastor and burritos in the future. Order while you can, there's no telling how long it will stay.

Never knew these Ghost Kitchens existed until the day I stopped by Chase bank on Elston and Kedzie and seen this weird building and well, curiosity got the best of me! Drove over and seen many people coming in and out so I had to check it out myself. Looked at the menu on Uber Eats and seen Taquero Mucho, impressive name by the way, means I love you a lot (with a hint of taco haha) Decided to give them a try due to the awesome name! I ordered the Asada Fries! Best of two worlds if you ask me! Quick turn around time! Once I got back home it was time to "Taquero Mucho" these Asada fries! Took the first bite.........Everything was perfect! Great tasting Asada! The green Salsa was awesome! Tasted like Avocado Sauce! I love Avocado! Great seasoning on the fries! Quality if you ask me! The one thing that I was upset about had to be..... That I finished them!!! Haha Can't wait to go back!

I'm not at all exaggerating when I say Taquero Mucho has the BEST Mexican food in all Chicago. I had a taquiza catering for my graduation party this summer and everyone was in love with the tacos. I'm so happy there's now a ghost kitchen I can order from!! I've tried the asada fries, chicken burrito, along with some tacos and THEY WERE SOOO GOOD. Portioning is super generous which is a rare thing for restaurants these days and you can literally taste the great quality of the food. The rice and beans alone say a lot about a Mexican spot, and this place has the best I've ever had! I can't wait to try more things from the menu, specially the vegan options and their michelada mix. 10/10 beyond happy. Keep up the amazing work!

We can't wait to book Taquero Mucho again!! From the first inquiry to our wedding day, Ivan and his team were professional, extremely knowledgeable and overall great to work with. They made our wedding day a dream. To this day, our friends and family are still talking about how great the food was! From cocktail hour to dinner, the food was delicious and Taquero Mucho made sure we ate. They went above and beyond. Ivan and his team communicated with our venue, knew exactly how to set up and provided everything we needed. Ivan designed the food space with us and knew thought about aspects, we hadn't. Taquero Mucho elevated a classic meal without sacrificing the authenticity and taste. We can't recommend Taquero Mucho enough!

Highly highly recommend this new gem in Avondale. The food is amazing!! Tacos this good are hard to find (unless you drive out of the neighborhood) I am glad I have a place close by to enjoy great tacos. Lastly, I also recommend the asada fries. They are fire!!!!! Go check em out folks!!!
