Taqueria Tiajuana

I am happy to say that this might be my new go to spot when I'm craving tacos! I have been on the lookout for a good, reliable taco place in San Diego, and, after many flops, Taqueria Tiajuana has definitely entered the list for top contender.Their tacos are very flavorful and good size for the price you pay! These are definitely the closest I've had, taste-wise, to Tijuana style tacos here in SD. I would definitely recommend coming here, especially if you want to save yourself from the drive to Tijuana & the border crossing time back. My top recommendations from here would be the Taco de Cabeza and Mulita de Adobada!On a Thursday evening, this place had a good crowd, which suggested that it would be good! They have plenty of indoor seating, along with some limited patio seating. The parking lot was a good size given how full the place was! Aside from tacos, they have a great variety of Aguas frescas and beer! They also sell different Mexican snacks, as well as desserts!During this visit I only tried the menu for Taqueria Tiajuana, but I'll definitely be back to give El Cacho (seafood) a try!

Food was bland and staff was disrespectful. I would not recommend. Also, the place didn't appear to be cleaned that often.

This place is over priced ordered fries and tacos the meat has no seasoning , Salsa were not good not spicy at all food was served cold , overall the whole place was a disappointment don't the the exterior fool you this place is more of bar where you go to drink beer , better off going to one of the food trucks down the street will not be returning do not waste your time here !!

Everyone loves Tacos and Chula Vista and San Diego has a lot to choose from. Tonight we got the craving for tacos we passed up the usual places on Palm Ave then we headed down Main Street in Chula Vista. You see a brightly lit establishment and people enjoying their food. An excellent menu of both Taqueria Tiajuana and El Cacho. The Taqueria serving up many types of meats , tonight we ordered Adovada, Chicken Tacos and the Birrea Mulitas. On the Cacho side we ordered the shrimp tacos and the Fish Tacos. Drinks were Coke and Horchata. All of the Tacos were delicious and well seasoned, garnishes of cilantro and onion plus various red, green and pico de gallo all fresh , tasty and various temperatures. With the fish tacos the combination of the breading, crema, cilantro, onion and lime brought out all flavors , seriously as I write this review my mouth is watering. Everything was delicious. First time we had no chips or dip or beans and rice as a distraction. Oh and lastly a huge assortment of Mexican and domestic beers I've cold. Large tables , plenty of seating and an efficient staff to serve up your Tacos. Give them a try ! Was delicious!

No need to cross the border anymore !!!!The best tacos. Delicious salsa bar and the best thing it is free. Aguas frescas are so good, so fresh ! The biggest beer selection in Chula Vista !You have to try this place !

First time visit, went during lunch. Good size burrito, food was good. it's very restaurant style with outdoor seating, but you can get food to go. Service was a little off as they gave our number to another table, so they brought the food there first before realizing it was our food. overall good taco shop, would definitely go back.

Torta quemada! Lo pedí en un Jueves 11/16/23 en la tarde cuando no estaba ocupado y todavía encontraron la manera de quemar mi torta. Aparte, pedí dos tacos de carne asada y dos tacos de adoba con puro guacamole y salsa, y los de adobada me lo dieron sin guacamole. Como le hacen cuando están ocupados?!? Pero no me imagino que estén ocupados cuando tienen esta calidad de comida. No los recomiendo.

We went today, when I was at the counter the only employee there told me to grab a menu and take a seat, but then people started lining up and she started taking their orders and we were left there waiting and she never came.Its ridiculous to have so many tables and only one server.Horrible place!

Food El Cacho and the birria tacos are on point, the ladies at the cashier were friendly and polite they gave me good recommendations in the food, I try the Sinaloa tostada and their fish tacos everything was delicious. Family oriented place and welcoming atmosphere.

Just yesterday, my mom ordered chicken tacos and found staples on them. We called, and all they said was we will give you another taco. The danger of having staples in tacos is really bad. My mom is elderly and she could have swallowed the staples, and the consequences could have been catastrophic. Im attaching the pictures . Definitely not going back . Be careful when eating at this place.
