The food was great, fresh fast and delicious. We decided to get some steak tacos, steak gorditas, and cow head meat tacos(tacos de cabeza) and it was all delicious and mouth watering good. We decided to stop here after seeing the reviews online and before hitting downtown nashville for the live music it was a great decision. The red and green salsa tasted fresh and right amount of spice the staff were super nice and friendly. We stopped in about 9:30 pm and they were busy and still got the food out in less then 10 min too. If your in the area I would give them a try as we loved our experience and hope others get to try the great food as well.

It was okay. They mess up on our order and we didn't get a few beans and rice. By the time I would go back it would have been closed. The tacos were good. The shrimp and fish combo was okay. Really dry. But they were nice, so will give a good rating for service

Leaving the dentist to meet friends at Tailgate to play Monday Night Trivia. Brain fires saying "so sick and tired of the loaded fries". Thought? How about that taco truck on Robertson? Thus begins my story. On a whim, I came I saw, I conquered. More like ordered, paid, ate in the car. This is a very unassuming taco truck run by people that can cook some mean authentic Mexican. The menu of the night (see picture) had a Cubana Torta (Cuban Sandwich), so I ordered that with some beans and rice. Food? The Torta was very interesting. A variety of types of pork, including roasted, chorizo sausage, and a sausage with a consistency of a hotdog, but different flavor (assume different, as I did not disassemble the sandwich to try all of the meats individually) and some avocado slices and some other diced veggies. Nicely wrapped for car consumption, which is a bonus. Served with a red and green salsa. The rice is not quite as fluffy as many Mexican joints, but has a wonderful flavor. I will have an ADHD moment soon and check if that is true of Oaxaca or just the way they did it in the truck. Beans are black beans, which I know are more typical of that region of Mexico. Torta was wonderful.Pricing? I think the torta, rice and beans at $16 was a bit higher than norm for the trucks, but I am not complaining. I will have to get back for the tacos and reassess if everything is high or the combinations of meats, which can be more expensive, dictated the food price. Would I return? Yes, I already said I need to go back and get tacos. Not sure I will aim for lengua (tongue) or cabeza (head - okay with the flavor, but never quite got to where I could stand the texture), but I am up for Asada, Pastor, carnitas, chorizo, and pollo. They also have Huaraches, so perhaps 2 trips?

Absolutely fantastic spot. Total gem. I've ordered mostly lengua (best in the city) tacos but recently tried the quesa birria. The consommé with it is excellent. Both green and red salsas are excellent. The horchata and jamaica are both excellent. They give you a little discount using cash.

Very good tacos and so worth it. We randomly stopped here and was very surprised to come upon it since we drove past it on the way to a friend's house. It's located in a parking lot in the middle of The Nations neighborhood. After finishing at friend's house, we decided to return for dinner. We had 3 different tacos that were $2 a piece, a Mexican coca cola, chips and salsa (the salsa is very spicy!), and of course a side of Oaxaca cheese. \The gentleman and the young lady who were running the show were very kind. The food, like I said, was perfect in every way! It has only been open a month, so please take some time and go check it out. They are open for lunch through dinner and mainly cater the lunch crowd who works in the area.

I truly don't understand how this is 4.0 the food has no taste the beans are from bean paste the rice seems like the microwave ready to go kind. If you like real authentic Mexican food avoid this place.. just so disappointed it seems like no one here can make real Mexican tacos.

Some of the best tacos in west Nashville. Their salsa is incredible, and they are open early and stay open late. You want these tacos I promise.
