Taqueria Pollo Asado

The definition of a hidden gem. Have drove past this inconspicuous taco stand set up in the middle of a gas station a million times and never would've thought to stop by until it was recommended by a friend. They're quick, affordable, and most importantly delicious with a fair amount of meat! Their 5 taco plate special comes out to $11 now a days. Self serve toppings and sauces just to the right of the cashier.

The taco special (5 tacos for less than $10) here is a DEAL and I would highly recommend this place for some good, authentic tacos. My friends and I have been looking for good tacos north of Seattle, and Omar's is top tier. On Google Maps, this location will show up as Omar's Taqueria #1 so it can be confusing to find. This taco joint is right inside the market by the Spirit gas station. FoodThe taco special gives you the option of 5 tacos with any of these meats: pollo (chicken), pastor (spicy pork), and carnitas (fried pork). I also got a beef taco to give it a try. My favorite by far was the carnitas. I was amazed by how the carnitas was actually crispy and full of flavor. The beef, chicken, and pastor were also very good. There is a small station where you can also grab pickled vegetables so make sure to grab some! AtmosphereThis taco spot is located inside of a gas station and totally threw me off guard when I first saw it. It's more of a grab and go place it looks like but there are 2 tables there. You'll also be sitting and eating right next to people buying random things from the store part of the building. Not your usual dining experience. PricingSome of the cheapest tacos that I've seen in the greater Seattle area and it's worth it for the taste. $2 for a taco. The other menu items seemed priced alright. There are also multiple locations so it's easy to get mixed up.

Went here the other day and ordered the 5 tacos for $9.50, and it was hands down the best tacos I have ever had in my life! Heard many good things about this place and even read that they were national ranked! I think most people might feel held back due to the restaurant being inside a gas station but I highly recommend trying this place out! I always love hot food kitchens in gas stations, I tried this one for a chorizo breakfast burrito. Excellent, high quality mexican sausage, great flavor and using a large tortilla. Enough for two people and $11.

Flew up from LA, landed at Everett and came here because we were passing by. If you don't mind eating at beat up tables in the back of a gas station, this place is not to miss. Rivals Taquerias at home and better than most. Big flavor, crispy meat. Just so good. Strongly recommended.

Great little spot in the gas station. Super tasty Mexican food. My partner and I got two different burritos. I got chicken he got the Cali burrito, both were very tasty.

Absolutely the BEST taco stop In the area! Do not skip this place even though parking is tough! Great prices too!

The place was amazing. Even though the sitting space is very limited, but taste wise it is one of the best dine-in Mexican places that I have been to. Tried their Nachos and Pollo Asado, both were Yum! Would definitely go again and try the other dishes.

Heeeeyyy we followed up and I can without a doubt say these guys are still just as good and I'm writing this as my lips are still tingly from the delicious tacos!! Man I wish I could eat more but I only managed two and took an extra home cuz.... Why not Beef cheek taco: if I had to choose between the Asada or beef cheek I'd go with Asada but only because I always have the chicken as well and the beef cheek is seasoned the same way. The Asada has more char to it so you know, mix and match. It is obviously more fatty as well so bear that in mind, great flavor and spice!! Chicken taco: oh boy is this good, the chicken is never dry or stringy just perfect every single timeDon't let the fact that it's at a gas station turn you off it's a very friendly place the staff is always warm and welcoming and just overall nice people We ate inside at the counter, clean and simple love it! We'll always be back for more!

Always good service and can't beat the prices. Never left without being hungry. Find a parking spot and wait for great food
