I got to start off by saying that it's been a loooong time since I've reviewed a good taqueria spot, much less a restaurant. Finally I was recommended to this place and decided to continue with my quest to find the best tacos in the NWP. Alpastor had really good flavoring, not a lot of fatty meat thinly cut. Carnitas had a rich flavor that was well balanced with the salsas that added that good old kick of spiciness to them. The sope was also delicious that was made of Alpastor as well as the tacos de pescado that we would give a solid 3/5. Service was good they attended to us when they got a chance, for they were in the last hour before closing and had a lot of customers so that place is always packed from the start. The cons for me was location. They are located next to a shelf gas station and there are really limited places to park, and only one table if you want to eat there. My other con is that I had asked if the order of tacos came with Chiles toreados and their response was a solid yes! Only to arrive to my place and find no chiles toreados on any plate. That really grinded my gears. Another issue was that they did not add lemons to my order. That's a big No no in my book. Overall, if you are around the area of Renton and you are bored of fast food, I would recommend this spot, just a big heads up, always check your order for the Lemons and Chiles before driving away!!! I will give it a 3.5.

If this isn't one of my favorite taco spots - ever! So many great things to say. For one, they carry one of my most coveted dishes - menudo blanco. Not many restaurants/trucks do. And it's a little too fatty... but bomb. Also they do my favorite taco filling really well - tripas. Idk if they changed management since moving the truck to the other side of the gas station (there's been construction on the right side of the parking lot so they moved to the left - also the design/wrapping/menu sign on the truck seems to have changed?) - so its not as good as it was before construction started like last summer - but still pretty dang good. Usually they used to ask if i want my tripas doradas or not, but this time they didnt ask, and it seemed over-fried/too crispy to me. But taste was still up there. I also used to order their quesabirria (had it two or three times) and it was the best one I'd found in the Seattle area - crispy, great amount of meat and cheese filling (which usually lacks in other restaurants)... this time it was a soggy and not as good (but filling was still the same thankfully). Also ordered their champurrado (which I've also had before here) and it was good at first then got... sour? Like part of the batch had gone bad... It was weird since I couldnt taste it until I got a third of the way through. This has never happened before. But all this does make me question if anything has changed, since quality seems to have gone down a little bit since summer. They also have delicious cabeza and lengua though, other meat choices I like. My friend tried al pastor and I thought it tasted a little too sweet and overly salty (but I guess that doesnt bother me since I rarely order that one!) Overall, definitely recommend. They also have taco tuesday cheap pricing!

After struggling to find a satisfying Mexican food spot since moving back to Washington from San Diego, my husband and I were hopeful when we stumbled upon this taco truck. Encouraged by positive reviews, we eagerly anticipated finally finding a local gem. However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment after trying the food. The flavors were lacking, as if the spices were skimped on, and the meat was sadly overcooked. Despite the friendly staff and the offering of salsas and toppings, including a small picnic table for convenience, the overall experience fell short of our expectations. While we had hoped to love this place, we sadly won't be returning.

The signage on the truck clearly says .99¢ Taco Tuesday Special. My partner and I went there last night for taco Tuesday and we're charged the full price of the tacos instead of .99¢. Beware and ask for receipt because they'll overcharge you.I would give them one star for overcharging us with the tacos on taco Tuesday. However, I gave them two stars because my partner liked their lengua burrito and the tacos were actually good. Food was good but the service was dishonest.

I would drive through the hell that is the gas station parking lot for this place, again.I'm trying to be mindful of previous taco trucks and restaurants I've tried, and not put them down. So, what I'll say instead is that this is some of the most fresh, flavorful and succulent steak that I've had in this area, and that's in comparison to 5 other places. Definitely give this place a shot.

Mexican food truck with lots to choose from. It's located in a gas station parking lot but has its own parking section. We had a fish items to share (lengua burrito, carne asada burrito enchilada style, beef nachos, and a few tacos - probably way more food than we needed). Thought the meats were a bit on the saltier side but the food was good and the portions were good size as well.Great value and good food!

Not sure why it's reported as closed on Yelp, but it was open this week when I was there for taco Tuesday. It's hidden in a nook of the gas station and can be obscured by cars and trucks parked in front of it. The 99 cent tacos are a steal on Tuesdays, and they are very generous with their portions. Did not skimp out on the meat or onions at all! I didn't see asada fries on their menu, but they were very nice and able to accommodate that order since they had both fries and asada nachos on their menu. It's generally packed on Tuesday with people taking advantage of their taco deal, but they give you a pager that will ring when the order is ready. Also remember to pack their garnishes which are hidden next to their sauces. Speaking of sauces, the lighter orange one is extremely spicy. It had no business doing that to my mouth, but it was still very good. Use with caution.

Food was salty as heck. I've had Potrillos food elsewhere including in South Seattle and West Seattle and I have always been pleased but this Renton location was not good. Service wasn't great either as the person taking your order in the food truck was unpleasant. As for ambiance, it's a food truck next to a gas station so no ambiance I guess.
