We recently had Taqueria La Original cater a dinner we held for ~20 guests at our house, and they did an amazing job. We ordered a variety of tacos, rice, rice, beans, and guacamole, and it was all delicious. I really appreciated not having to worry about cooking, and it was fun to do something that wasn't just ordering pizza!

I moved from California about a year ago, so I was very upset that all the Mexican-style restaurants are not legit Mexican food. The bf and I saw this little taco truck near our apartment and decided to give it a try!We ordered 4 tacos each. We didn't know there was a taco plate (4 tacos + beans & rice) for the same price, and the owner let us know :)! I got 4 al pastor (my all time favorite type of meat!), and the bf got 2 al pastor and 2 carne asada. Each taco is $2, but they give you A LOT of meat.As for service, the owner was very nice! It also didn't take long for us to get our food.I personally think that they deserve more customers! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food unlike some places down the Junction, come check this place out! Also, I do enjoy supporting family owned businesses ;).

Oh man, this place is dangerous! I finally ventured over to this food truck that I've passed by countless times over the past several months. After seeing the awesome Yelp! reviews I knew it was time to walk over and give it a shot. So glad I did.I ordered two tacos, a mulita, and a side of rice and beans. For the tacos I got one carne asada and one carnitas, and for the mulita I got the chorizo. Everything was amazing, but my favorite had to be the pastor taco. The meat was so juicy with a hint of sweetness. It was topped with your traditional cilantro and white onion, plus a bit of grilled pineapple. It was HEAVENLY. The carne asada taco was pretty good too. The mulita was fabulous: cheesy, a little smokey from the yummy chorizo, and everything was topped with a bit of avocado. I really liked the rice and beans as well... very flavorful. To top it all off, the service is fast and friendly, and everything is so affordable! The tacos were $2 each and the mulitas $2.50 each. I have a feeling I'll be coming here almost weekly for my Mexican fix! Highly recommend!

OMG, seriously, why are there not lines out this place? This is seriously the most AUTHENTIC Mexican food I've had in Seattle and one of the best tasting Mexican I've ever had in my entire life. I got some pork enchiladas and everything from the carnitas to the pico de gallo to the refried beans was PERFECT. The platter was $10 and I got two tamales for $2 each. $2 each!! That made me so happy because up until now, I thought the only tamales I could get were the shitty $5 tamales sold at those bougie farmer's markets which were wrapped in paper (not even corn husks). Compared to those rip off framer's markets, the prices here were reasonable, not expensive at all.Anyway, this taco truck is unassuming and frankly kind of shady, parked next to a closed run down looking produce market at night. There's a make shift tent with some tables set up next to the truck. The whole set up looks like a hole in the wall but you know these kind of places have the best food! The truck even has this neat little window built in on the side where you can help yourself to salsa, limes, sliced radishes, and jalapenos. Seriously, I ask again, why are there not lines up in this place? Perhaps it's because it's in the burbs. If this food truck was parked downtown, I think people would be beating each other down to line up and eat here. West Seattle is out of the way for me but I would come back here just for this amazing Mexican food.Make sure you bring cash, it's cash only!

Had a couple burritos here and really devoured them. So good! Lots of good meat and veggie choices. I'd like to try the mulitas next time I go.Parking wasn't a problem, as there is a big lot right next to a fun open market!

I have now tried their chorizo burrito. Honestly this has to be one of the best I've tried for $7. I'll put it this way: this food truck will end world hunger. This food truck would undoubtedly be accepted by both democrats and republicans. This food truck could run for office and win with grassroots support. If this food truck doesn't earn a Nobel Peace Prize for spearheading the demilitarization of all nations and bringing humanity to its next step in civilization, it would be as egregious as Kendrick Lamar losing to Macklemore for best rap album of the year in 2014. This food truck is worth all this text, so if you disagree, at least take my time and effort typing this as a truthful expression of my support of this establishment. Thank you kindly.

Boyfriend, daughter and I really enjoyed our food today. Tacos were delicious, so was the salsa that came along with it. We will be stopping by more often

As someone from Arizona who has been struggling to find Mexican food in Seattle that's up to par with the places back where I grew up, this is one of the best. The beans and rice are excellent, and I loved the spice in the tacos (I got carne asada, al pastor, and pollo). Definitely check them out!!
