Taqueria La Bamba

My wife and I have searched far and wide for great taqueria food And the typical Wa state taquerias are all a let down . This place is amazing so much like the California Taquerias we love. The asada is on point and the salsa is great .

Probably one if the best quick service Mexican in Monroe. Fresh, flavorful, and fast, if a bit more spendy than the local taco trucks. We especially like the adobada and asada in both tacos, burritos and quesadillas plus I almost always grab an agua fresca (flavors vary daily) too.

Really good tacos and caldo. Came here on a recommendation and it didn't disappoint. Definitely coming back and definitely worth a try!

LOVE taqueria la bamba. My go to taqueria whenever I'mIn the area and one of my top 2 in Washington state so far.Also the only place I've been to so far that has great tostadas de ceviche which is one of my favorite things to eat in the hot weather. Today we went rafting on the Skyhomish river with Alpine Adventures and when we were done came here for tacos! So delicious!I got two tacos de adobada and one of carne asana on *handmade tortillas*. The handmade tortillas cost extra, but trust me they are game changing. Prefer the adobada since the carne had big chunks of fat I didn't like. My favorite were the tostadas de ceviche, which were perfect in the 100 degree weather.My sister got a quesadilla which was massive and delicious and stuffed with cheese and adobada. Highly recommend!!! I've gone here 3 times in last couple weeks because I just can't get enough!

La Bamba has been our go to place since moving to Monroe almost 4 years ago. Unfortunately La Bamba is currently closed due to Building code violations. They had expanded the restaurant a couple of months ago, and apparently it was not done to code according to county signs in the window. I truly hope they get things straightened out and reopen soon. They are missed!

Best Mexican food in Monroe, beef tacos, Polo asada, fried fish are great, wide variety of drinks, love this place

Alright I'm finally getting around to reviewing this restaurant it's the holidays and it's been busy for me- us so a couple of days ago I had a chance to sample some tacos from here. Now I love authentic street tacos so I went with the tongue and head- cheek meat selection I mean show me what you got I want to get the real deal so the meal arrived and the presentation is good........ but the flavor of the meats was meh I mean it's "good" but didn't separate itself from other restaurants sorry but I'm not saying don't go here I think I'll try other menu items but when I try a Mexican restaurant and they offer traditional meals I want to be to be wowed that's what I'm hoping for, sadly not tonight. The beans and rice are your standard side nothing wrong with them but not noteworthy. I'll keep searching for the unicorn but this place while I'm not writing them off they're "good " but nothing extraordinary at this time I'll keep searching.

Ordene un huarache de tripa y de adobado y el de adobada me lo trajo de chorizo con todo y el plástico !!! No me lo comí (OVIO!) y luego llego el cositero /dueńo y me dijo que que era el problema des pues que me quitaron el plato para no aver pruebas de nada !!! Dijo que te voy a dar un descuento de $2.56 centavos que burla más grande !!. Yo tengo 2 negocios y cada quien maneja su negocio como quiere pero no lo recomendó !! Para nada
