Este review lo dedico a todos los crudos. Si te levantaste crudito hoy, y te la quieres curar, ven a este lugar y hechate un menudito. Los precios son muy razonables y la comida deliciosa. El lugar está muy limpio y el ambiente es familiar.

Ok 1st time hear !!! What my younger brother told me to try this place and he is a bit of a menudo connoisseur! First the name El Korita well I know what a Korita is ?? Do you ?? It's an Indian from Nayarit!! Well the food is definitely worth a trip to Chula Vista since a ticket to Mexico is a little pricey! They serve red and white menudo and that is their signature meal . The service is great!! It's like we were the only ones there . The tortillas were like a gordita ( a fat corn tortilla).everyone was talking and eating very nice vibe .If you follow me then you know that if I don't have anything nice to say I just don't eat there !! Well this won't be my last time here . Oh by the way it's next door to Jacks donuts and if you've never had Jacks well the. Forget about it!!

I visited this page this morning and looked up Menudo to find a spot other than my usual, so many people commented on previous post that El Korita in CV was the best. I went and I have to say it was delicious. The tripe was cleaned well, the broth had no fat, and the tortillas are hand made. It's Nayarit style, which isn't my preferred style of menudo (a little light in the flavor) but it was really good. Check it out if you like menudo.

This place is centrally located in Chula Vista off Palomar Road and I got to say it's definitely in my top 3 menudo Spots in San Diego. Do you know it's a good spot when it reminds you of your grandparents cooking

First time here, liked it a lot, clean place, great service, tasty menudo and the tortillas were delicious.

ITS TACO TIME (3.5 stars)We have to give kudos to small businesses and let the community know what's around them!Exploring Logan Heights and in search for tacos. Small restaurant tucked in the middle of a heavy populated Mexican neighborhood drew me in. Small parking lot, empty on the weekdays but very packed on the weekend. Mostly neighborhood locals eating here. I stuck out like a sore thumb. There was a language barrier and I don't speak past elementary Spanish, moreso my level of Spanish is 23yrs rusty of High School Spanish taught by a white person who wished he was Spanish. "Hola. I'd like to order some tacos porfavor."The menu was minimal for tacos, no Carnitas tacos. Played it safe and ordered the basic Pollo taco and Carne Asada tacos with everything on it. Everything is compromised of cilantro, onions, and the protein of choice. the tacos came on flour tortillas (love that) but the tacos were average tasting street tacos. The protein didn't have any strong grill taste but I can tell the proteins were fresh. The pollo has a nice seared outside and tender inside - white meat so it was a little bland. The carne asada was tender but felt like it was missing some seasoning... just basic pollo and basic Carne Asada. To add an additional taste, the salsa they make is highly recommended. Although average, it was still good to eat.Until the next review...

This place is that hole in the wall, at first glance your like eeehhh and the service is not the best but the flavor of the food (menudo) is phenomenal.You can taste the freshness in the broth and tripe and the tortillas de maiz. However the tortillas are portion controlled by them because they are high in demand. I asked for extras, willing to pay obviously and the guy said he can't sell extras bc they barely have enough for the existing orders. He's just doing his job but he annoyed me. My review is based on taste of food , service is a 2-3 star.If your from south bay and know some of the menudo spots I ( my opinion) would rate them in this order, best to least Korita La SierraGuadalajara on Broadway Don Vincent This is for informational purposes for you fellow yelperzz

The best tacos in San Diego, hands down!Starting from the tortilla, made by hand to the meats and cheese they use. Not to mention the salsas (this place made me love red salsa)... i totally recommend this spot! Havent tried the menudo due to place running out (sells a lot).**did not have time to take star shots of my food but here's my tacos haha**

They have moved to:1355 Broadway Suite AChula Vista, CA 91912. Great menudo both blancos y rojo w fresh made corn tortilla. Their sopes or pelizcadadas de chicharrón prensado are heavenly.

El Korita is my go-to menudo spot. The price is right, service is quick and friendly, atmosphere is up-beat, and --best of all-- the menudo is muy rico. It is always the same: tasty, no grease, filling. Get there early to avoid standing in line.
