Taqueria El Jefe

Came here a few months ago, trying so hard to like the food because the girl at the drive-thru was super friendly, but I just can't. The tacos bland. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The meat tasted like it was either boiled or steamed. I won't be returning. Not to sound negative, but I really don't think this place will stay in business with bland food like this. Sorry.This place now calls itself Taco Fiesta! Got a new paint job and name. Unfortunately, they still have the same bland food, and the restaurant is always empty! Instead of the new paint job and new name, they should've fired their cooks and hired some who are not allergic to salt and authentic Mexican foods!

Taqueria el jefe had very good delicious tasting award winning tacos. Nothing to compare with tacos el gordo but they had a very good unique tasting tacos It wasn't until couple weeks ago they repainted the whole taqueria and now with a bit more modern look we have " fiesta tacos " or whatever it's calledThe quality tacos went from a good +11/10 to a 1/10 Before the al pastor tacos had a delicious unique tortilla , you could just feel the quality plus the seasoning was so good These were smaller in size and came with guacamole always! I just ordered again tonight and was so vastly disappointed how owners put very small thought on food quality. Your tacos are dry now , little heart , they doubled up the tortilla and now it's just feel like eating bread tortillas with unseasoned meat , Now it's just another Mexican food average joint.... It's like going to Roberto's or any other joint down the street. Jack in the box tacos have more taste than the ones they are selling here I'm very disappointed how they would exchange good tasting food for average food. Customer service great, food I give it an extra negative -100 - Stick with Roberto's or any other taco shop near by

I first ate at this restaurant when they first opened and was a little unimpressed like some others here. However after trying the food again a few weeks later, the food actually improved a lot and had a lot more going for it. Since then I come by semi-regularly when heading home from work.Today they're in the process of changing to a taco shop style menu (think panchos or robertos) and I'm hoping more people give them a second chance like I did.

Tacos are big and heavy, you can make 2 tacos for the price of one!We ordered 4 tacos and were able to eat only 2. Friendly and Great customer service. Taste is delicious, taken to your table once order is ready, salsa verde is not that spicy but has a kick to it. Plenty of room to sit inside, kid and family oriented.

I highly recommend this place tacos are really good tortillas are made in the spot! Meat is tasty! Great flavors What gives it the flavor is the salsa and its pretty good Service they still lack on it you dont see great gfaces when you walk in or they dont even greet you at all THEY WILL AVOID YOU (need to work on customer service specially when taking an order Restaurant is clean very decent lots of sitting feels like home!

Pollo was so salty..Carne asada burrito was bland with no pico.Fast service but the food was not good. The only thing good is the tortillas

Would most definitely recommend this taco spot. Been here more than a handful of times with my husband and have not been disappointed once. Food is flavorful, tortillas and hot sauce on point, and staff very polite. We had a carne asada burrito, 2 mulitas, a few tacos, and a cup of beans - ate it all! Five stars in my book!

Came here on a whim. Place was basically empty but felt inviting, it was esthetically pleasing could tell they put effort into the look. Ordered adobada and lengua tacos and side of fries .overall, adobada would give 3/10.. had a weird after taste .. we couldn't really place it but it was kind of like a fishy aftertaste and wasn't seasoned enough. The lengua 3/10, same problem, not seasoned enough. With salsa and salt, would give a 5. The tortillas were the best part, they were so good 10/10... Fries needed salt.. 7 tacos two drinks and fries came out to $37. Not bad. Would have to come back and try other stuff on menu. Place is very new just opened, definitely has potential.

I found these papitas asadas so untasteful, and itt wasn't real guacamole it was sour an nasty I also bought a baked potato in the same unpleasant taste, most black potato I ever seen

This place sucks!Food was under cooked.. weak flavor. The quesadilla supposedly had oaxaca cheese! (It was some cheap cheese)
