I ordered a breakfast burrito and chips and salsa. I was super excited for this meal because breakfast burritos are my all time favorite but I was disappointed. It was supposed to be filled with eggs, cheese, bacon, pico de gallo and bacon. What I got was a potato filled burrito with minimal cheese, barely any eggs, no pico de gallo and 1 or 2 bites of bacon. I was disappointed with my order. I would be willing to try this place again but I'll try others first before I go back

I've had a couple thousand burritos from all over the world, and this was by far the worse.I was super excited to see a "San Diego" style burrito- carne asada, guacamole, Pico, cheese. As someone who grew up in San Diego, I knew in my heart that this was probably going to be a bad idea but I hoped. I should have properly read the reviews to know not to order a burrito here.I ordered the San Diego Burrito and picked up. Now when I got my order it was thin, but I was optimistic. However that optimism died with just one bite. I knew it wasn't going to go uphill from here. This burrito is so unbelievably thin and underfilled. The only filling was essentially meat. In their defense that is what the description does say it has butttt to call it a San Diego Burrito hurts my soul. I've never ordered a burrito in San Diego like this or in general. Flavor was decent at least but for how much you're paying for it, this is a skip to me. I honestly would advocate Chipotle as a better deal if you want a burrito.

I ordered a burrito, it was good, but man was it expensive. Also, they didn't update the prices on their menu board. When I was rung up, the burrito was actually 5 dollars more than what the menu board said.

3 carne asada taco combo for $18.70 the cashier lady is doing something funky! Not combing back. She is stealing or charging high from customers. Sad. Menu price is $13.99.If you go around town another Mexican take out fast food - just like here,,, 3 carne asada tacos with beans and rice are for $12.99 not $18.70 that's a total rip off here.

If a friend excessively recommends a restaurant during a car trip near midnight, you might want to check it out. So I decided to check out Taqueria EL Gallo. I never heard of it before until my friend raved about it as a local Redmondite I never heard of this place until that glowing review. I think in part because it is sort of "hidden" next to the Concentra Urgent Care in the area (one block away from Farine/across the street from Kanishka)In terms of inside the feel of the restaurant is more down to earth. A friend said that the food and place feels like something their grandparents would make and I totally get it. I had an idea of some of their items through their website, it is different seeing it in person. Some items were weekend only specials like Birria but listed elsewhere on the site. Some items were guided by pictures on the overhead menu. One thing I appreciated were that some items were translated (ex: lengua as tongue) just in case someone didn't know what they were. I think it was especially great in their case because they listed tacos that are not regularly offered everywhere (lengua, cabeza, tripa, etc,)Because I was in a rush I chose 2 carne asada in the 2 tacos special (2 tacos, rice and beans for 9.99) and two additional tacos of lengua and carnitas. Funny enough another glowing recommendation of the food came from the Lyft driver who took me home from the restaurant since I had to rush home. He mentioned how he was a fan of the food.Overall, the food was pretty good. I think the lengua was my favorite of the tacos I had to eat (I have to double check with another bite though). I wouldn't mind visiting to try their burritos, carne asada fries and other treats in the future

Paid for an online order, received a message saying order completed. When I went to pick up the order, they closed the restaurant and said their machine was broken. Ok, I get it that things happen and you can't complete an order, but at least provide a refund or a number to call to get a refund. Nothing, just locked the restaurant so no one can come in. Very bad customer service. Not worth going back.

I came here to try the carne asada fries and the cheetos burrito that i've been wanting for quite a while. When I first walked in, i didn't really feel welcomed and the employees made me feel like i was an inconvenience to them. The burrito was good at first, but then i realized they put guacamole after i asked them twice not to. Carne asada fries are pretty mid. There is nothing very special about them. 2/10- Not coming back . (Starting to not feel too good now. SAVE YOURSELF )
