Taqueria El Costeño

This place is very yum! The tacos are decently portioned for the price and the meat was very flavorful. I ordered the asada lengua and pastor. I enjoyed all my tacos and the meat was very tender! The waitress serving me was very sweet and nice. I definitely want to come back and try a plate or their sopas. It's a good sized restaurant to accommodate parties to sit down and have a meal. Definitely stop by.

I love this place for a quick bite to eat. Very authentic. The staff is so nice. They seem by have their regulars because they already know some peoples orders. The place is nicely decorated.i got the sope dinner, 1 carne asada and 1 chicken. I'm usually weary of getting chicken but this was very good.

Brand new taqueria conveniently located directly across the street from the Damen Pink Line stop.Right next to The Barrel Bar.Was there for the first time lastnight.Ordered a taco de cabeza and a taco de lengua.DELICIOUS!!!!!! Service was excellent.Im going back again tonight.Beer and tacos go great together.And The Barrel peeps are really cool about me bringing tacos in to go along with my drinks.LOVE living in Pilsen.

Delicious!! Second time trying this place and I loved it! Service is amazing. The owners make sure to make you feel welcomed. They are super kind and attentive. They easily accommodated our group of 5. I love how they have chips and salsa. The salsa has amazing flavor and the chips are nice and crunchy without being greasy. Nice size of a menu with a lot of variety. My favorite things to get are the platters/platillos but the tacos are good too. The guisado de lengua is a MUST try. Lengua is tender and is soaked with a fresh green salsa. The rice and beans remind me of home and the side salad is a nice touch. The fresh aguas are good too-not too sweet. The restaurant is very clean and neat. My sister even made a comment about how clean the bathroom is. It's in the perfect location right off the damen stop. Parking wasn't an issue for me. My family absolutely loved this low key spot and we will definitely be back. I'm excited to show other friends this place too.

Excellent customer service. Great staff. Amazing food! Oh my goodness I had no idea how delicious it was gonna be. I ordered a veggie burrito and my husband ordered a steak burrito. Both items were very flavorful, fresh, and made with care. As someone who grew up eating homemade traditional Mexican food, this place for sure gets 5 stars and a thumbs up.

Tonight was my second visit here. I had the Tampiquena platter and it was SO good! The portions were big enough for another small meal. Last time I had the Huevos Mexicano and it was delicious too! Everything tastes so fresh and you can tell they use good quality ingredients. I really like this place and look forward to trying something new next time.
