We had a craving for some Mexican food last night and this little taco shop happened to be across the street from our hotel. We ordered the carne Asada burrito with rice for my boyfriend and I to share. Holy goodness! This burrito was dang good! It wasn't greasy, the flavors were perfection and my lawd was that burrito PACKED! It came with a delicious avocado crema type sauce and green salsa, both delicious. They also added grilled onions and peppers with fresh cucumber and lemons. For $10 if filled both of us. (Be prepared, they are cash only) Great value and super tasty. I'd love to try more items on their menu.

Well, daddy is back on the road and that means we'll have a few more reviews that appear sporadically in different states and locations. While on my way to my hotel, it was either The Lord or my affinity for the Spanish language that craved carne asada. When this kind of feeling hits, you can't just go to a chain restaurant. Find the real thing. Spanish was one of my majors in college, and there's one thing I learned, it's that if no one in the establishment speaks English, you're in the right place. I scanned the menu for a solid 5 minutes, but finally landed on their 'Quesiburro'. Never had I ever heard of or tasted such a dish, and my heart cried out for it. I'm also not with my fiancé, so I knew the only other tongue I'd be tasting tonight would be the lengua taco I ordered. It didn't taste as good as her sweet kisses, but was still delightful. More on that later. To begin, my mouth suddenly rushed full of salivary activation whence I laid eyes on the quesiburro. When a plate's main feature is meat, the number one wag you can screw it up is by lacking in the meat department. This item SIMPLY did not lack in meat, and trust me I would know ;) (but really, I always buy too much meat for parties. What the hell is wrong with me?)The minced cheese and homemade tortilla complimented the meat as if she were a delicate set jewels (or Jules, depending on how you spell it). It moved me. I was sitting in one chair to start, and actually noticed that I ended the meal sitting in a completely different seat. You do the math. The tacos. Ah, the tacos. Living in Dallas, this is what every white girl claims to LOVE, but few actually know what real authentic tacos look or taste like. Well, if I was a white girl, this is where I'd say, "Wait, omg this is like really really fire. Hang on I have to put this on my insta to show all those other betches they don't know about real tacos, especially Tiffany." To make an already long story not as long, they were pretty great. Again, not the tongue I would've preferred to make contact with my tongue, but we're in different cities tonight, so I did the best I could. What a welcome into this city. There have been nobles from England traveling to a foreign country, who upon their welcome didn't receive near the kindness that my tastebuds did. I'm not saying that it was a life changing experience, but will my life ever be the same? I don't know, I don't have the ability to see into the future. Please check back later. Update. Life still the same. Check back later.

The food here is amazing everything has flavor it's fresh it's very yummy. I tried their taco I tried the burrito I tried their soup the soup is amazing I tried their carne asada fries they are amazing must try their food. The only bad thing about the restaurant they only take cash nothing else. But if you like the food I guess it would matter. I liked it so much I kept going back and paying cash.

This taqueria is by far my favorite in town.Although the style and decor obviously screams owners are from Sonora, this style taco is the one I grew up with in Sinaloa.Typical tacos as I know them come with a sprinkle of finely diced cabbage and your choice of tomato sauce or hot sauce.Their tacos are really delicious, the tortilla selection of corn or flour and the delicious way theyve been warmed in fat from the same meat is heavenly.Their guacamole is none of that americanized mixed with pico de gallo. It's plain avocado and lightly seasoned to taste.Dont forget to ask for the side of cebolla asada (roasted onion) and add it to your taco.My favorite item to order from here are Papanchas.Which is basically mashed potato made in heaven, with meat on top plus cheese and cabbage and your choice of tomato sauce or chile. Accompanied of your choice of flour or corn tortilla. I dont remember ever seeing Papanchas in Sinaloa, so it's either this restaurants delicious creation or it comes from Sonora. Whoever's idea it was, it was a godsend.Their breakfasts are also delicious. We made an order of their huevo con jamon (eggs with ham) with a side or refried beans and it was a big order enough to feed two hungry four year olds.Only downside is that they take only cash.Still, it won't deter us from calling back again and again :)

I just ate there tonight. Most of the time I get two Lorenzas with tomato juice and two tacos. Everything is delicious. Last time I ordered quesodogo and was yummy!' I just don't like that they only take cash but there is an atm right outside at the parking lot where I always withdraw cash. Prices are good and all food is excellent.

Best Cabeza in AZ hands down. Anytime I am in Phoenix, I make sure to stop here. I live in Tucson and although we have great Cabeza here Taqueria El Compadre is the best by a long shot. There is so much flavor in their meats it is mind boggling, their Carne Asada tacos are fire as well the best!

What a pleasant surprise! I'm was visiting Phoenix for work and feeling a home sick, and in search for some tamales from a bakery that was closed for the day as I was leaving saw a taqueria next door. So I gave them a try, and they turned my disappointment to satisfaction! I ordered four tacos semi dorados two of tongue, one of tripas, and one of cabeza they some of the best tacos that I have eaten!
