Taqueria Blue Tortilla Restaurant

Stumbled upon this spot. My son wanted to go here because he thought blue tortilla sounded funny. I'm happy we tried it! The food was great and the place was clean. We were shocked at the carne asada burrito. It came out and it was huge! Therefore, we were thinking okay let's scoop some rice and beans out for the kids. NOPE! All meat. No fillers! Just a little bit of yummy guac. Almost wish there was some more. In a time where it is rough to eat out because you feel like you aren't getting your moneys worth this was a nice change. EDIT: I forget to mention the green salsa, amazing!!! My mouth is watering writing this.

Cute little place -- no air in the middle of summer in AZ was a little warm, but we made do!! The lady taking orders was so nice and helpful. The food was delicious. The birria had an overwhelming cinnamon flavor to some people with me, but I personally didn't mind it. The only "bad" thing was the fries in the birria fries tasted like they were from the day before -- not at all hot and super soggy. Otherwise everything was good! If in the area will probably eat here again.

Gluten free eater. I was crazing tacos. And this place didn't disappoint. It's a small place with music playing and just a few tables. Their menu isn't extensive, which is great to perfect what they do have. I ordered the combo tacos with chicken, pork pastor, and carne asada. All the meat was well seasoned. Tasty on their own. But my husband ordered the birra plate and I may have snuck some/alot of his broth. It really made the taco. I did like the red salsa. Nice and spicy. These tacos would have been great alone but the birria put it over the top. My husband liked his birria plate. It was a pot roast style meat with birria and tortillas. He was eating every last piece of meat. He did say it was a little greasy but overall very tasty!My rice and beans were good, but nothing too exciting. Our wait staff was friendly and checked in on us regularly. This may become a regular in our rotation in the valley. We will be back.

Great food at a great price. Our food was made fresh and the service was great. Red salsa was perfectly hot but not tooo hot. The tacos (birria, asada and al pastor had such great flavor. Authentic Mexican food with an authentic Mexican feel.

Absolutely DISGUSTING I ordered the nacho fries and when I received it through doordash the french fries were soggy and cold shoe string fries and the cheese was hard melted white cheese of some kind with a plop of hard sour cream and Brown guacamole!!! There was supposed to be carne asada on the fries but all I could find were little remnants of hard pieces of some kind of meat! If you value your money and your taste buds run far and fast away! Hopefully my garbage can appreciated the meal.

The lady behind the counter was super friendly and the tacos, rice and beans were delicious! Another spot to go after our vet visits near downtown Gilbert! Try um out gang!

Food was amazing! Service was quick and everything was very flavorful. Portions were plenty and prices reasonable, very well done.

Just okay, had a burrito that was not all that interesting, sparse interior. No need to return.

Service was amazing! Food was delicious, and let me tell you it's hard to find a good Mexican spot in Arizona. Very happy I stopped by. We will be coming back again

I had the shrimp tacos and it was absolutely delicious ! I also loved their authentic chips and salsa! I highly recommend
