Came to Tang today for the first time and it was an awesome experience. We had Bibimbap, boiled pork with all its trimmings and cod spicy soup. The service was very great and the food came out super fast and piping hot. The restaurant was clean. All the tables were turned over right away. I came with a party of 4 and we did not have to wait to be seated. I will most definitely come back!!! Keep it up guys!!!

Under new management. Menu changed Side dishes are fresh and delicious. We tried bunch of different foods, love the spicy sauce!! Like how crispy kimchi pancake is, the broth of Kalbi tang is amazing. Meat is tender, rice cake was perfectly cooked, pretty much everything was good. Service could be slow as they got one person for serving.

Ambiance: restaurant is tucked away, so may be hard to find. It's right next to the Ashley furniture store in the strip mall in Niles. Very cozy vibes inside, reminds me of how restaurants feel in Korea. Server was friendly and lots of Korean families dining on a Friday, always a good sign. Food: their specialty is broth/soup based broths Korean entrees. We tried the galbitang (beef rib dish) and it was delicious. Homey, rich, kinda reminds me of the scene from ratatouille where Anton ego is taken back to his childhood. The prices and portions are great too! I feel like this place will become a regular establishment in my routine. Service: friendly no frills service! No complaints. Worth it factor: 10/10!

Ample parking, clean interior, welcoming ambiance. Love how Tang has evolved their menu to include a variety of options. They are family friendly which is a plus. We really enjoyed their bossam, doganitang, sseolungtang, bibimbap. Sides are quite good. The waitress could be a tad more hospitable.. but service is good for a Korean restaurant. Prices are a bit high but everything nowadays is. Great comfort food option in the area!

This is the second time eating in person. The food is good, the sides provided are delicious. The ambiance is nothing upscale, has a lot of tvs with K-pop so if you're into that, this is the place for you. The server was very friendly and helpful, even provided an apron to avoid getting stains on our white shirts which is a first for us. Would recommend!

i was in the mood for a hearty & healthy Korean meal - and what better than bossam (boiled pork wraps) to satisfy that craving?! it was my first time at this spot, and i absolutely loved the casual, homey Korean vibes. i would def come back for dinner and some soju. + the service was so kind. as for the food - delissshhh! the meat was perfect with the cabbage + radish salad, and the altang (spicy pollock roe stew) was refreshing and paired well with the bossam. i'll be back!!what we ordered:- bossam (boiled pork wraps)- altang (spicy pollock roe stew)

Hate to make too many comparisons, but as a huge fan of Wako donkatsu in Ktown Los Angeles, it's very happy to have a place that does fried Katsu just as well in Irvine! The katsu is tender, golden brown, and generous in size!Large enough to feed x2 especially with the side banchan. Love getting this for take out!

Stopped by Tang Korean Restaurant after shopping at the Park to Shop nearby cause I was craving for some Korean food. The owner was super nice and friendly as we walked into the restaurant. The place was pretty empty when we got there around 2pm and the owner asked how we heard about the restaurant after seating us down. I told him I was just googling and it was close by so decided to give it a try. We ordered the Korean fried chicken, bibimbap, and oxtail/tendon soup. Everything was super delicious. The soup hit the spot for me and I was able to put in my own salt/pepper. The fried chicken was super crispy and I love how this restaurant separates the sauce from the chicken. The bibimbap was very flavorful with the gochujang sauce. Overall, I had a great experience and would probably come back if I'm in the area. I don't think I would purposely drive all the way up to Niles just for this place since I live in the city.

I'm slowly learning about all of the Korean restaurants located within the suburbs, and I am very happy about this find. It's located in a large shopping plaza so there's a lot of parking. The restaurant is very clean and service was fast and friendly.육개장 is one of my favorite tangs and Tang makes it so well. Such a good balance of savory, spicy, and clean. The prices for the tangs are reasonable and they have a pretty large menu. Definitely will be back.
