Tandoori Palace

We stumbled upon this incredible Indian restaurant during our vacation and it was an absolute highlight! We ordered a feast for the whole family: Malai Kofta, Butter Chicken, Lachcha Paratha, Garlic Naan, and a special order of Yellow Dal for our little one.Let's talk about the bread - it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The Garlic Naan and Paratha were cooked to perfection in a tandoor, giving them that irresistible smoky flavor that's so hard to find in the US. Our picky eater devoured the Yellow Dal, and the Butter Chicken and Malai Kofta were rich and flavorful, just as we'd hoped.The service was lightning fast! Everything arrived at our table within 15 minutes, which is unheard of. If you're looking for an authentic Indian dining experience with exceptional service, this place is a MUST-TRY! We can't wait to come back on our next trip!

met a buddy for lunch at TANDOORI PALACE. our host was over-the-top congenial and made an effort to make feel us welcome. the buffet was set up so I snapped a couple of photos for future reference, and ordered several favorite dishes from the menu.had the MANGO CHICKEN CURRY, LAMB ROGAN JOSH, and CHICKEN KORMA (coconut milk curry with cashews, raisins, and shredded coconut). we also got the GOAT CURRY, one of my eating Indian out staples (and make it regularly at home with goat from North Coast Produce) but theirs was almost entirely meatless bones. tore pieces of buttery NAAN and ate everything in little taco bites. the dishes were all good but couldn't call them great. the company was better.

The most authentic North Indian food in Encinitas! The service staff was very professional. They have a good selection of hard to find Indian beers. Overall, if you are looking for an authentic Indian food experience, highly recommend this place!Definitely will come back again!

The Korma was good. Having said that, everything tastes the same. I was hoping the tandoori chicken would have that marinated tandoori oven flavor, but it was not so flavorful and a bit dry. Also, the buffet lunch pans of food were not refreshed often enough. I'm use to Indian food from the San Francisco Bay Area which has exceptional Indian food.

So my friend brought me here during the week and we tried out there all you can eat bar they probably had about 8 or 9 things to choose from. The owners are super friendly it's a family-owned business and I love that. A lot of the dishes I just felt didn't really have that much depth of flavor except for this vegetable dish I can't recall the name of it it's on the all you can eat bar it's the only vegetable something and it's not whole vegetables it's like more of a creamy chunky texture but that was really good that was probably my favorite. There's so much more on the regular menu to choose from so I would probably forgo the all you can eat brunch bar and try some favorites from the menu next time.

Excellent Indian restaurant in the Encinitas area. We were craving some appetizers and this place didn't disappoint. We tired gobi and chicken Manchurian, chicken 65, veg samosa and aloo paratha. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Papad with 3 types of chutney is on the house. Our server Raj was efficient and friendly.

This is our favorite local Indian restaurant! The vegetable samosas are huge and tasty. The garlic naan was made perfectly and fresh out of the oven. I loved the texture of the daal soup, my husband didn't like that there was cilantro in there, but he's someone that hates cilantro. The chicken Tikka masala was delicious as always, we got it medium spicy and it was perfect. The chicken is very soft and juicy! We definitely over-ordered, this could've fed about 3 people easily! The service was also great, the waiters constantly refilled our waters and checked in on us. The owner also mentioned that they will start a lunch buffet! I'm very excited to come back for that on my day off.

Wow! I stopped in for lunch and was so impressed with the service, atmosphere, energy and quality of food. I got the buffet for lunch as a vegan and was so delicious!!! The best most authentic Indian food and experience I've had in the states! They were aware and knowledgeable with vegan diet! So grateful for such a divine experience and would highly recommend! Especially for the lunch buffet offerings!

This place is a great place to eat. The service is very attentive and awesome. The food is delicious. The shrimp tandoori was excellent. The tikka masala chicken was awesome as were the eggplant also the Samosa and Papon. Also, we enjoyed a wine. And the price was right and they were open till 10. Highly recommended.

Buffet was amazing! Great staff and beautiful atmosphere! I go every week now because the food is always so amazing.
