Love this place! Have gone multiple times across the week. The quantity, variety and pricing can't be beat. The quality is consistent and always good no matter when you go. The staff is extremely hospitable, give great recommendations and encourage customers to try different options. The ambiance is great for large groups, especially celebratory occasions and is extremely kid friendly. Our regular go-to choices when going here include: -mixed grill meat platter-kibbeh-falafel -humus (usually included)-chicken toshka -chicken tawook wrap -iced hibiscus tea Cannot praise this place enough.

5/5 Such a beautiful restaurant. It is a very large restaurant, good for larger groups, with outdoor seating and really neat middle eastern lighting and fixtures. A very romantic place to go just for the ambience. 5/5 All of the staff were dressed in outfits from the areas they represent. They staff were all super friendly and helpful, smiling some of the biggest smiles I have ever seen from restaurant staff. The menu covers Indian and Middle Eastern with a large hot/cold drink menu.3.5/5 Hubby had butter chicken and I had Chicken Shawerma. I also had butterfly pea tea served in a nice glass cup that started out as blue and ended up purple when lemon was squeezed into it. It was magical and pretty neat. We also has a serving of the garlic naan, which was only lightly seasoned, but the bread was very soft and fluffy. Hubby really loved the flavor of the butter chicken with rice, but there weren't many pieces of chicken for $20. It was a decent sized mound of rice with a pot of the sauce, but not many pieces of chicken. But my shawerma platter could have easily fed both of us with leftovers. I had two kinds of rice which were ok but not great, a very large mound of sliced chicken and a small mound of sliced sweet pickles. There was a garlic sauce served in a small cup and it was good, but there wasn't enough. The chicken was too dry and not flavorful enough on its own without the sauce. There was enough for leftovers the next day. We were offered a free slice of kenafa, their famous sweet cheese dessert, which was very good, but hard to eat alot as it was so sweet.

We celebrated my wife's birthday for a Saturday evening dinner. Atmosphere was wonderful with great staff and ambience. We ordered the Large Mixed Kabab Platter. For $150, we got four appetizers, and a large platter filled with two types of rice (yellow and tomato), grilled onions and tomatoes, chicken tawook, chicken shawarma, beef kabab, lamb chops, and filet. This platter was more than enough for my family of five. And we had a lot of food left over for another dinner the next evening. All food is 100% Zabiha Halal. I highly recommend the Large Mixed Kabab platter for a family dinner because you get to try various appetizers and grill meats.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this tandoori restaurant, I think they have changed the name to Tandoori Al Badia now. The aroma of spices greeted me as I entered, setting the mood for perfect lunchtime. The menu offered a diverse selection of tandoori specialties, and each dish was a masterpiece. The chicken tikka was perfectly marinated and charred to perfection, boasting a smoky flavor that left me craving more. The naan bread was soft and pillowy, ideal for savoring every last bit of the flavorful curries. We got the appetizer sampler which had most of vegetarian samples if you are not into non veg options. Also lastly for the dessert we went for the knafeh and it was heaven!! Must tryThe ambiance was warm and inviting, complemented by attentive and friendly staff. The chef's details to the dishes were incredible! If you're a fan of tandoori delights, this restaurant is a must-visit. Prepare your taste buds for a journey through the rich and aromatic world of mix Afghani and indian flavors!

This is a great place in Villa Park that has both Arab food and Indian Food. There are separate kitchens for each cuisine, so there isn't a mix up, and the food comes out as it's ready. The service is good when you get Mohammad as your server. He's really attentive and always checks on you. He also provides great recommendations, as well as the rest of the servers. I love the Badia portion of the restaurant, which is the Arab food. Their dishes stay in line with the Al Bawadi brand that they partnered with. I was curious to taste their Indian dishes as well, and it did not disappoint. Of course, you have to get their knafa, Badia makes a great knafa dessert. There's plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall and the prices are perfect. I really enjoy coming here, the decor I beautiful, the food is delicious, and you'll come out happy.

This establishment is also known as Al Badia. That mixed platter is no joke delicious, the chicken tikka is the best part. Seriously, I'd order another skewer. Everything on there is worth a try. I've heard the buffets they offer here are a must, pricey but you leave happy. The nihari was ok, it was lacking in flavor but packed the heat. Great bread. You have to try their mint drink! Order a pitcher. The mango drink was also refreshing. Service is great, there's many waiters to tend to your requests. The ambiance is lively! Lots of decor and they sing a special tune for birthdays. We were happy to try the knafeh, but wished it was warmer so the cheese would have an actual cheese pull. Nonetheless the chicken tikka and mint drink makes me want to eat here again and again.

This restaurant is no longer just "Tandoori". It is now Al Badia and Tandoori. They still serve excellent Pakistani cuisine but also Middle Eastern! They just leveled up. You have to try it. The ambience has changed for the better. Everyone is very polite and attentive. All of the food that we tried was superbly grilled and presented. Chicken toshka was crispy, hot, and delicious. Tabouleh was fresh. We were served a large grilled meat platter and a large seafood platter with large salmon portions, shrimp, and what tasted like swai. The drinks, from kava, to mint tea, masala chai, lime mint, mango lassi, and many more, were outstanding. We ended the evening with a large, rich, cheesy Knafeh. We departed with doggy bags and bloated, happy stomachs. As we left, we were sent off warmly by everyone just as we were warmly greeted. Spend an evening here, you'll love it.

I heard about this place a while ago and thought the concept was kind of weird (i.e. Indian food and Middle Eastern food). We were in the area, so we decided to give it a shot and try some place new.Parking is spacious and the place is decked out both outside and inside. It's large inside the restaurant and suitable for large groups, but still felt cozy. The menu wasn't as vast as I expected, but there was a reasonable selection of dishes to choose from. We were mainly interested in the Middle Eastern food today, so we went with the lamb chop entree and chicken toshka sandwich (appetizer). The lamb chop entree was a let-down. The lamb chops were lacking in flavor, and they didn't do much in terms of veggies or garnishes. They didn't even serve a garlic sauce or anything on the side. And the rice was room temperatur. At Fattoush in Worth, they serve pickles, bread, dipping sauce, lentil soup, and salad on the side. We've gotten Fattoush's lamb chop entree a few times, and it comes with a lot more stuff, including a thin bread with tomato sauce. On the other hand, the chicken toshka sandwich was awesome! It was thin bread with chicken and cheese inside. It was flavorful, gooey, and crispy. Even the presentation was nice with nice triangular pieces arranged on a rectangular plate.Service was friendly. Pricing for the lamb chop entree was too high considering Fattoush offers so much more for roughly the same price, but pricing for the chicken sandwich was very reasonable.

My review is specific to the Al Badia middle eastern menu. It's always great to find a halal place nearby and this menu is very similar to Al Bawadi in Skokie, Loved all of the middle eastern food including kibbeh, chicken salad, filet mignon kababs, chicken cheese.

This restaurant is now a fusion restaurant called Al Badia Tandoori Dallah. For any picky eater in your family, this place is perfect. You have great South Asian food and Middle Eastern food. The restaurant did receive a beautiful renovation and you feel transported when dining here, definitely doesn't feel like you're in the Chicago suburbs. We ordered mango Lassi, Pina colada and the mint lemonade. The drinks are amazing. However, the glasses are super tall and can easily Tip over so be careful. We ordered the Large Mix Kabab Platter. It was a lot of food! We had plenty of leftovers. The kenafa was served tableside and we devoured it. I can't wait to try the lunch specials too. They do charge gratuity and the service was incredible so totally well-deserved.
