Zuwar Mediterranean Restaurant

I saw this restaurant on a recent trip to check out mochinut and I decided that I must try it. The restaurant was quite busy as we entered but we were able to sit right away. The waiter was very busy but very kind and helpful. We ordered right away and got hummus with pita bread, Chicken shawarma wrap, babaganoush, falafel and tabouli salad. The hummus was some of the best I've ever had, so creamy, nuttiness from the tahini and very fresh tasting. The shawarma was very good and perfectly spiced. The falafel was also amazing. The tabouli salad was very fresh and bright with citrus and light olive oil. The restaurant was very clean, nice and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Man! So happy this is in our beautiful community! Brand new just opened two days ago. They didn't have the full menu but that's completely understandable. Opening a business is hard, but the stuff they did have was exceptional. The hummus! So delicious- a family recipe that goes back over 40 years! With a salsa on top. Very unique. Then I had the falafels. I really loved those! They were packed full of flavor and chopped onions. The wraps were next. I preferred the beef but they were also very delicious. I would have loved some type of garlic yogurt in the side but it was plain. Still very flavorful and good portions. Will be back for sure.

Amazing shawarma all around , saw them making it from scratch and the taste was amazing along with the service . All this with very affordable prices . Beef shawarma and Chicken Shawrma , one of the best middle Eastern Arabic Mediterranean restaurants in Tampa .

So good! Everything was so fresh and the owners were friendly and helpful. It's a cute place to dine in as well. Also - this Pita is so fluffy and fresh - I will never be able to eat pita from a grocery store again.

Food was not that good no bread and on top of that expensive. Kebbeh for 4.99 each whyyyy??? Very small kebheeh it's not worth it at allll.

I had breakfast with my family and the food was amazing from the hummus to the the falafel. The beef shawarma was also delicious

I came across this place on yelp and noticed it only had one review so I took the risk coming here and it was very well worth it! I ordered the beef shawarma and how do I say this... it tasted just like they make them back home (Middle East), every bite I took brought me back to my childhood The service was great and the people behind the counter are very nice and seem more than happy to serve their customers. The restaurant was also very clean, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again!PS I would've included a picture but I devoured the sandwich before I could even think of writing a review from how good it smelled and looked lol

My husband is a big fan of Mediterranean food. Me, not so much. Until Zuwar that is. It was delicious and super fresh! Their stuffed falafel was the best falafel I have ever had and I have had many. The hummus- delicious. Lemonade with mint drink- delicious. If you haven't tried this place or were on the fence, you must give it a try. The prices are very reasonable too. Great place!!!
