Zukku Sushi - Tampa

I'm kind of obsessed with the sushi burrito. I wanted something that was refreshing and not fried and typical American food-- and oh boy did this deliver! I wasn't quite sure what I was going to get with a sushi burrito, but I was interested in trying. This is the way they should be done. The only thing is it did break quite a bit on me -- the second one at least, however, the flavors were amazing and the concept was so cool. I definitely feel like this is a thing and this needs to continue to be a thing..

I just needed something to hold me over until dinner and went with the miso soup. It was tasty, a little spicy actually. And the tofu pieces were nice sizes, pre cooked (I couldn't tell if they were fried or steamed but they definitely weren't just soft. They had a slightly crispy edge to them). The service was a little awkward, they could have been a little more friendly. As an out-of-towner it's not like a local restaurant I would be going to regularly, but the overall food hall that it's in is pretty cool. Something for everyone!

Armature works has a variety of eateries so it's hard for anything to really stand out here. It is my go to when I want a good poke bowl though, I tried their sushi a while ago when they were located towards the back of armature works and that was good too. No complaints, glad they offer delicious consistent bowls. The teas are okay... again nothing special but definitely check them out!

This was my third time getting Zukku Sushi at Armature Works in Tampa. It's a MUST go to if you're going to head to Armature Works... And honestly, the only place I will eat there. They have a touchscreen service where you just press the way on what you want; it prints out a ticket and will text you when your order is done. Tried a Poke bowl with a side of spring rolls. Both items were delicious. Service was great. Staff explained items in menu in great detail. Ambiance is Armature Works is pretty chill, and inviting. I always enjoy visiting this building.

Now don't get me wrong sushi is always good BUT I was at this booth the other day ordering a sushi burrito and it was amazing bursting with flavor BUT the portion was very small for almost $16 dollars?? The food is amazing but they need to up the portion size

Stopped at Armature Works after picking up my sister and her husband from the airport. We decided to grab sushi and it was delish! I ordered the tempura shrimp roll and it was a basic roll but that's how I like it! Can't remember what they ordered but they loved it too! Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're visiting Tampa!

I absolutely loved Zukku in Armature Works! There was lots of restaurants in the building that had grab and go options including Zukku. I had the spring rolls but forgot to snap a pic- they were incredible but didn't come with a sauce. I also got a ginger salad and then the larger sized poke bowl with sushi rice, crab salad, and spicy tuna. The line went fast and the service was quick and accurate. As far as the ambiance the entire building is loud and relatively crowded but there were also spots to sit outside that were quieter. Overall I would definitely come back next time I'm in Tampa and highly suggest everyone visit Armature Works when in town.

Fresh ingredients. Fast service. Clean food hall. My only complaint is how small the serving size was for the price. It's nice to go to the food hall when your group is craving different types of cuisine but prepare to pay a lot for the food and parking too if the street spots are full.

Zukku used to be good, I don't know if ownership changed but a year ago up until they moved from one spot to another in armature it was great. They took away panko chicken and replaced it with kaarage chicken which is a terrible replacement for a poke bowl. The chicken went from tasteful and crispy to squishy and no crunch compared to panko. Sad to see one of the better places in Tampa is going downhill
