This is a small business and seems to be family owned possibly. The workers were kind. They had a variety of bagels that are made fresh daily. They also offered sandwiches, wraps, salads, sweet treats, and beverages. Their main meat source is Boars Head, which is top tier! It was hard to choose from all the great options, but I decided to get the double decker. The double decker has Boar's Head Ovengold Turkey with American Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Mayo Stacked on 3 Slices of White, Wheat, Rye, or Pumpernickel Bread. I got this sandwich on toasted pumpernickel bread with no cheese and bacon then added cucumber. It was delicious! The veggies were crisp and fresh, and the meat was freshly cut. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture, but the sandwich was huge and once I took one bite I couldn't stop. I'd like to go back for breakfast and try one of those freshly baked bagels.

So I tried, well attempted to try this place out once before and although I arrived early they were out of bagels. So being the foodie I am I decided to give it another shot now that they have been open a while. They did hand bagels this time but again out of several and it was still early. Now I ordered a BEC, Lox and a cream cheese bagel. Service was ok, I know New Yorkers and Jersey folk can be rude but I've never experienced it at the deli. Not even in the city. So I get my order and this is where I know they aren't NY style. A New Yorker knows that a bagel is second to the spread. You have the in between you either lick or scoop with your finger because it's going to get everywhere. Well this didn't have that. It was like we are living in the 20's and cream cheese is being rationed. With flavors, presentation and all a 4 out of 10. Now onto the bacon egg and cheese, you know what I'll save the explanation, they lacked the egg and bacon again nothing like a New York bagel. The eggs and bacon went on vacation and the bagel stayed behind. This was 3 out of 10, the lox was 6 out of 10 but again don't claim to be a NY deli even Einstein bagel is better and that's saying a lot.

It's really hard for me to recommend Zio's. Their service is good, but things stop there. They advertise themselves as a NY Bagel and Deli, but I've never been to a NY style bagel place that didn't have any white fish salad. Just like I've never been to a proper NY Deli that didn't have a proper corned beef or pastrami. And no, Boars Head sliced pastrami and corned beef are not proper NY style. I've been back to Zio's several times now, and I have to say that things are pretty bad. I normally get a garlic bagel, or an everything bagel, and every single time I do the garlic and onion come out burnt to charcoal. It ends up being bitter and unpleasant to eat. I don't get my bagel toasted, so this is how they cook them. I've tried a few times hoping that it was just the luck of the draw because I know that other people like their bagels. My wife's aunt loves their bialy's. So, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But each time it's the same. Maybe if you're going for a plain bagel and cream cheese you'll be satisfied, but anything more will surely disappoint. I've given up trying at this point. Sorry Zio's.

If someone were to ask me what my favorite breakfast meal was, I will always respond with a bacon, egg and cheese everything bagel with ketchup, hot sauce, a pinch of salt and pepper. It's been my go to meal for so many years and I'm so happy to have been able to find the place that makes it exactly how I want. The bagels are made fresh, with delicious flavor options, cold cuts, coffee, everything that reminds me of my favorite NYC bagel shops. I brought my dad with me who grew up in the city and he said that this place reminded him of his childhood because of the vibe of the place, so it's even more special to me because of that. Definitely check them out if you're looking for a great bagel spot!

Well, doing some house shopping in new Tampa we know we need a bagel! I've been looking to come here for a while and I am so glad we did. We enjoyed everything that we had. I had a salt bagel with butter so I'm in heaven, my husband, everything bagel, my son, whatever that monstrosity was with the corn beef and he loved it! We have a vegan daughter-in-law who is able to find a lovely cheese bagel as well. Coffee was good and strong. Thank you, Jeff for coming here to Tampa, Florida from New York to save us and make some delicious bagels. and yes, will be back many times.

This cozy, family-style bagel spot has a mom-and-pop vibe and is perfect for breakfast or lunch, with tons of bagel varieties baked fresh every day. They also have a coffee bar and sell their own cream cheese and dips, all at super affordable prices.I tried the cinnamon crunch bagel, which was absolutely delicious, though some of the cinnamon topping did fall off. The bagel itself was super fluffy and flavorful. The bacon in my sandwich could have been crispier, but overall, the quality was great.Despite being very busy when I arrived, the service was quick, and the shop provides seating for those who want to dine in. I would definitely visit again!

Let me start by saying I was hoping for something and it was not what I had desired. It was in no way bad. I had just built up an expectation and...I read their origins are from the area I grew up in....where we walked from school everyday to the bagel shop for lunch. I had hoped to find that exact mixture of everything seasoning.... My daughter and I went on Thanksgiving morning. I ordered my usual - egg and cheese on an everything not toasted. It was good, and probably if I had not hoped it would have been great. My daughter loved her lox concoction with capers..

I really love this place. Reminds me of the delis back in New Jersey. The food is amazing, but I can't stand the long wait time. I always try calling ahead so they don't have to rush and make my food. Today I ordered a regular bacon egg n cheese on a bagel and found wax paper in my sandwich.

For Sunday breakfast, I wanted to have a bagel, so I decided to visit Zio's New York Bagel & Deli.Upon entering the deli, I was pleased to see many people enjoying their breakfast, which added to the lively atmosphere. After discussing with the server to find the best bagel option, I decided to order The Western White Wrap Bagel along with a hot coffee. The service was prompt, and within 10 minutes, I received my order. The bagel was delicious, made with ham and freshly toasted to perfection. It was hot, tasty, and truly finger-licking good.In addition to their variety of bagels, Zio's New York Bagel & Deli offers Boar's Head sandwiches and a range of other breakfast and lunch options. I highly recommend this place for a satisfying breakfast or lunch experience.
