The food was great. I did have to wait a while for my food, but it was worth it. Prior to going, I didn't really actually read reviews so I had no idea of their signature wing sauce tasted like...it does have a distinct flavor (a little sweetness) . I didn't get to take pics because I downed it right away...next time

Located in a foodtruck near Causeway and 50th st! This is their current location (old location was in Ybor storefront). Yuppi is known for their WINGS. They are so crunchy but a medium not thick batter. FLAVOR oh my goodness, 10/10 It was a 15-20 minute wait when I walked up. The wings are made to order. I saw alot of people come get their call-ahead orders, I would do the same next time. Probably call and place your order when you're 15 min away. 10 wings is $20 and includes fries. The fried shrimp was also delicious and huge. But the shrimp get soft quickly compared to the wings which tasted crunchy even 30 min after you pick it up. Sides: recommend cornbread and potato salad! They run out of their cornbread by 8pm. The mac n cheese was not cheesy and lacked flavor. I would not get this again. And don't forget to grab a bread pudding! They have a facebook page and instagram for daily updates.

Delicious wings! Love that they're available right in Ybor-- perfect for a quick late-night snack after a few beers on 7th. They are somewhat on the pricey side (e.g., $10 for 5 wings alone), however, you can truly taste the handmade quality of these-- the breading and seasoning/sauce blend are just fantastic.

Anytime we're in the mood for some wings that absolutely will not disappoint, we think of Yuppi's. The wings are super crispy and the yuppi sauce cannot get any better. But don't sleep on the catfish either! It's a great sized filet and fried to perfection! They recently added a buttery biscuit to the menu that tastes like granny's finest. I've been a customer for years and I'm so glad they're back in Ybor.

Had to return... again! This place is just too good not to visit at least once a month. I'm gonna start making up the excuse that I need to go to the car wash next door, just to hit up Yuppi more often. The wings were phenomenal, as usual. And this time we tried the shrimp and the sides. Good lord... everything here is excellent. The shrimp was delicious and the potato salad and Mac and cheese were some of the best sides I've ordered at a place like this.They need to come up with a system to let you know your food is ready, without needing to hear your name called out. A text or a screen where you can see your name or something along those lines. It's very hot still when it opens and the sun hits right into the shed with the tables, so we like to wait in the car.Also, they need some sun blades or something to block that intense sun.But all that said... we'll be back... again.

They do have some of the best chicken wings in town. I was invited to try their wings once and have brought my family back now a few times. Their wings are big, juicy, saucy with a lime wedge. Just hit different. You won't have a wing flavor like this anywhere else. Their yuppi sauce is just amazing. I follow them on instagram and I see them whip up fried Lobster, fried fish, Fried shrimp and Fried corn. But these aren't regularly found on the menu. So make sure to check their socials to see what new fresh item they're cooking up. The vibe and the food is well worth the visit. Thank you for making a unique new spin on wings. These are definitely Tampa's finest. BYOdrinks.. this is a good truckk with outdoor seating. Also, order ahead of time. These wings are made fresh to order.

Found this place by way of the Yelp event. My wife is elite but I am not so I paid for the food. I am happy to support this black-owned business. The staff was very courteous and grateful for the support.The food was very flavorful. I went with the special which included wings, shrimp, Mac and fries. Everything was seasoned well, hot and perfectly crispy. Highly recommend. A little pricier than I expected though.FYI, It is located next in a random lot next to a car wash. If you're not paying attention, you'll drive pass it. It's a bit of a drive from me, but I would return if I'm ever near Brandon.

I am officially addicted to Yuppi. I think they put addictive drugs in the sauce! Just kidding. Got my fix of 10 shrimp with fries. Easily worth $21.50 with tax (added $4 cash tip).
