Your Mother's Back Yard

I cannot believe how many hundreds or thousands of times I've driven past this placed without realizing it was here. Your Mother's is on a par with Williams' Original as the best sub shops on the area. Freshly cut meats on a soft hoagie roll with fresh fixing's. Mmmmm GOOD!Like the Terminator, I'll be back!

We came by to try a new sandwich shop while in the area. It is a bit small inside with a few tables. I am glad we got there early. We ordered at the counter a cuban and a chef salad and drinks are all in cans and bottles. I thought the salad was a bit small for the price but did have a nice amount of meat and cheese. The cuban sandwich did have pulled pork and was pretty good. They stay busy with many take out orders. Overall it was ok. A fun restaurant celebrating 40 years.

Nice little local sub shop. While the Cuban was good, the price was a bit much for what you get. One-two thin slices of each. The quality seemed to be something you could get at Winn-Dixie. Fair score would be 3.5, since it's a mom/pop shop, I rounded up

Hoagie buns are fantastic! Our family enjoyed the sandwiches but the people and service is top notch!

This place is close by where I work and have been there twice so far, both times great. The first time I had the Mothers Special and this time the Worker, both were 8" sandwiches and both nicely packed with the goods. However, ordering the Worker I skipped the mayo and forgot to add oil and vinegar instead, a bit dry but that was my bad. Reading some of the other posts I need to order the meatball next. It's my Wednesday lunch trip. As far as service, there's three behind the counter taking care of business and quick to fill orders. Prices are fair with 12oz can drinks. Beware, they do close at 2pm.

This is a childhood favorite of mine. The sandwiches / subs are amazing. The bread they use is English muffin based , so yummy and delish.

Wonderful, friendly, people and great subs, for less than the chain sandwich shops! You won't be disappointed!

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday after doing some Yelp research, well worth it! Simple but satisfying menu options, all fresh and made to order, fast and friendly service. Small but clean interior seating so you can sit and enjoy your lunch or take it to go.

A hidden gem for sure! I have lived in St. Pete for 29 years and never knew this deliciousness what here! Their sandwiches were amazing and the staff was so very kind and friendly with fast sandwich making Make sure you try them --they're only 42 years young !!!

Total hole in the wall but a home run! Super fresh bread and ingredients. I ordered the "worker" which is turkey ham and roast beef. Outstanding! The ladies did a fantastic job on my sandwich. And really fast!
