The house Greek dressing was so good you could put it on grass and love it! Sopped it up with the bread it was so good.

The food at this place was absolutely delicious. I haven't had a better hummus anywhere else I've ever been, and the Saganaki was the best. My only reasoning for not doing 5 stars was because the server was very friendly with everyone in the restaurant, but my table. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I don't think anyone upset her by anything we could've said. I know we asked her what was her favorite on the menu, and where the restrooms were, but that shouldn't have made her uncomfortable and unfriendly. I know people aren't regulars here, because I overheard a table talking about "Where we live in Michigan" and it's a touristy destination. So, anyway...The location was great. They had an acoustic singer outside and he was going a phenomenal job, and I had a great time watching everyone walking by and some stopped to take pics of the guy singing, and also of the building. Not sure what was so special about the restaurant, but definitely popular with some. I will give this place another try eventually just because of the food. Hopefully we'll get another person waiting on us, or at least be more friendly and attentive.

Went on a group tour to Tarpon Springs and this was our lunch stop. I got the chicken souvlaki salad which surprisanly came with potatoe salad on top. It was good, not great. My husband got the fish sandwich which he did not enjoy at all. The waitresses had to keep asking who ordered what too. I don't think I would go there again

Delicious food and nice people. Every part of the meal was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible. It's a relaxed atmosphere and a good stop for lunch. Offering military discounts always earns an extra star.

First time visiting the sponge dock and we were hungry. Decided to go in and were able to be seated quickly. The place was pretty packed! But despite this, service was actually very good. We were greeted immediately with our orders taken. I ordered a sangria but realizing it was happy hour so I was surprised when she brought me 2, and I'm not complaining! Sangria was delicious. The Greek combo platter was big enough for hubs and I to share and also had some to take home. Everything on the plate was delicious. I loved the Greek salad. We were supposed to get a side of veggies with our combo but never received it. Didn't realize until we left but it was so much food anyways. Definitely a place I'm adding to my fav list for when I'm in the area.

Food was really good, great portions. We also ordered the Dolmades. They were good but wished they had lamb in them. Their tzatziki is excellent! I would come here again. Service was excellent. I'm only giving 4 stars because the inside is a little run down.

Delicious! Friendly! Authentic! We met some friends from out of town here. We ordered way too much food but everything was so good! Even had lunch the next day. Such a friendly atmosphere! There are plenty of green restaurants close by but this is by far the best! Can't wait to go back!

Long term favorite for me for over ten years has fallen from 5 stars. The people that work here are so nice. Service was lacking due to how they had one women working 10 tables. Had to ask for most things twice. Everything is over salted. Calmarai was over cooked. The potatoes dip was bland. Sad sad day as what used to be to be the best in town.

Wonderful Greek food. With plenty of Greek food to be found in Tarpon Springs, Yannis is our favorite. My nieces and nephews come every summer for a week and every year they ask for some flaming cheese, grilled octopus and spanakopita. Yannis is where we head. It's not the fanciest place. It doesn't have a great view. It DOES have great and what tastes like homemade Greek food and great service.

I had the Grilled Red Snapper (Greek Style) and my wife ordered the Moussaka (Layered ground beef, eggplant, and potatoes baked with creamy bechamel cheese and topped with tomato sauce). Our sides were green beans, salad with Greek dressing, Horta (steamed endives served with olive oil and lemon) and a bowl of Avgolemono Soup (Greek chicken lemon soup). Sorry for being so wordy, but EVERYTHING was so fantastic I want this review to be thorough. I will end by saying that you will not be disappointed with the service, quality and quantity of the food served by Yanni's Cafe and Grill.
