Yankee Bean

I can't believe it took me this long to try the Yankee bean. I've wanted to since it opened and finally made it. They knocked it out of the park in terms of quality and inventiveness of their soups and sandwiches. I started with a Thai coconut chicken soup that was phenomenal. Even the super quality oyster crackers they served with it were a cut above the usual ones. I followed up with a curried chicken salad on pumpernickel that was perfectly seasoned, lots of chicken and such fresh bread. And the hibiscus tea they make in house is the perfect refreshing drink to round out any lunch. My friend Cory loved her sandwich and soup as well. Cozy dining room, friendly service and lots of yummy and creative options. Definitely worth stopping in anytime you're in Tarpon for lunch. This tucked away little gem is fantastic. The salads are plentiful, fresh ingredients and nice presentation. The split pea soup was so tasty. It is a little expensive for the type of food. The staff (Mackenzie and Manual) were friendly and attentive.

Such an awesome little sandwich and soup shop! Honestly you would never know where it is unless you google this place first, or have been to the Salvage Store that is in front of it!Today I went in for the first time and ordered some takeout Gnocci Soup. Inside is small with a few tables set up, and I ordered from a window where you can see straight into the kitchen.The ladies there taking my order were exceptionally nice and you could tell they were all hard at work. The food being served looks spectacular. Super fresh salads and sandwiches were coming out.My soup was phenomenal! It was just what I needed for an at home sick day. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful homemade fresh food. Always an incredible amount of freshly made soup choices. Love to support a small business- great lunch place- honestly a bit pricey but worth it-

Took mom to the Yankee Bean. I've seen it, but never ventured into the small space, so I thought that we should. The place is TINY. 4 or 5 tables, a TV and a counter. You sit down and the waitress comes over, she covered the specials and let us peruse the menu. When we did order, I ordered the Taco bean (I think that's what they were calling it) soup - which was basically a chili, and tasty, if bland. Both mom and I ordered the Mediteranian Wrap. Both of us found it tasty, but for two of us, with 2 wraps, 2 sodas and one bowl of soup, it ran $30.

Their turkey Ruben, made to order, is delicious! It's always made as I wait never "pre made "!!!

One of THE BEST places in Tarpon Springs. Everything is made fresh. Soups, Salads, Sandwiches. You can't go wrong. Never had a bad meal. Great friendly service. Highly recommend!!

Great hidden gem in Tarpon Springs that makes good sandwiches and soups. Great lunch spot. They have their own specials that changes on a weekly basis. If you want to try different kind of soups, this place is the place in the area to eat different soups. I have eaten there several times.
