Been craving Mexican for a while and even though we have a spot 2 minutes frlom the house we were over around Tyrone and found this place. Very cool building and the inside is nice and bright. Cool decor. Great vibe. So many great sounding and unique stuff on the menu. Prices are awesome too! We started with the chorizo queso. So good! Delicious flavors and a little heat. Could have used a little more chorizo though. Maybe put it in cast iron so it keeps the cheese melted longer? But very good. For my main I settled on the Gringo. A cheeseburger burrito. So good! Great flavors in the meat blend. Really good. Deb had wicked rolls. Very spicy little egg rolls. Tasty! She also had some tortilla soup. Large portion with lots of shredded chicken. Pretty good. Brie our server was awesome. Super friendly and efficient. We will be back.

Pretty good spot for some Tex-mex. The interior is nice and updated. Lots of options on the menu. Love their happy hour deals. The Paloma and house margarita I ordered were great, however I wish they would incorporate adding Tajín on the rims. Their queso was amazing , and there salsa was good. The fish taco I ordered was good too.

An overall disappointment. The restaurant was clean, and well lit (maybe too well lit). The beer was nice and cold, but overpriced. The service was mediocre at best. Not bad. Just average. The old people at the bar talked LOUDLY, even though they were sitting within 24" of the person they were talking to. The food was the biggest disappointment. I've had tastier food at Taco Bell. Bland, dry meat. Bland, dry beans and rice.

I had high hopes.... Alas, I was disappointed. But, how much can I really expect a tex-mex restaurant, owned by fellow Texans, to make good tex-mex in Florida. I'm also biased. Border girl who loves Mexico and Texas, so it's really hard to please me. But I repeat, I had high hopesI ordered the seafood enchiladas, rice, and black beans, and it was unbelievably bland. Lacking in flavor and spices. I really should have sent the dish back to the kitchen. On a positive note, my jalapeño margarita was delicious. I ordered two, and I would have ordered a third if I wasn't driving. Maybe I'll try this restaurant again. Or, maybe I'll just visit for happy hour. The margaritas really were good.

Fun place with great ambiance. We enjoyed the live guitarist, Ross- what a happening place to be on a weeknight! This restaurant has a very large, open layout, and looks beautiful.Service was wonderful all around. Attentive, accommodating, and friendly. While we did not visit the bar this trip, we did sample their margaritas that people reviewed on here as being great - they're not great The one thing that was good about them is that you can tell it's fresh lime juice. Other than that, far from great- and certainly that might vary by day, time, or bartender if you visit The food was largely inedible. Tried steak Fajitas, and the meat was grilled nicely and tasty. The charred beans or whatever also tasted pretty good. The rest was really bland, and nothing tasted remotely Mexican. The presentation however was colorful, and the portions healthy.For the fajitas, two little shriveled-up dried out taco tortillas came in tin foil, as if the tin foil was serving any purpose. Now, these were completely inedible, virtually crumbled up and disintegrated. You couldn't roll them or fold them to make a fajita.We asked for more tortillas to see if they could bring out a fresher batch so we could make the fajitas, and two or three more shriveled up dry ones came out in some more tin foil. Maybe they didn't receive a food shipment, or maybe all of their tortillas went bad and we came on a bad night, but these were pretty embarrassing.Stale, old tortillas to the point where the customers can't even eat the fajitas ruined the experience. It's less fun to eat the fajitas plate with just a fork and knife.We don't want to rate this any lower, because it's an upscale place and you'd likely have some fun with a group there -assuming you already ate someplace else, first!
