Our favorite thing about this was being able to sit outside on the beach toes in the sand and enjoy the afternoon. You can tell this is a popular spot so I recommend a reservation if coming in the evening/weekend. Out of the food we ordered my favorite were the nachos. Just your classic nachos honestly. The crab cake topped salmon was okay, the salmon was not the best and the crab cake was so soft, there was no crust on it. Flavor wasn't really there either unfortunately. As for the gator bites ... they tasted like gizzards , not gator. They have some cute souvenirs for sale and if we are in the area again I'd try other items next time.

Beautiful scene set with the backdrop of the waterway. Beautiful sunset. Ordered from the Happy Hour menu a Mojito. It was priced right but came in an ultra thin glass and the muddling looked like swamp water. It was a slow evening. Maybe 6 other tables that evening. More staff than customers. I expected better service with the open availability of our server. They did keep serving the two 20ish females two tables away. The mouths on those two were loud and swearing. No intervention by staff except to serve them additional drinks. I would have spent more and stayed longer than we did.

We have visited whiskey joe's a few times and always have had a great time there.Today when we went it was exceptional. Amber was our server, there was never a wait time for She's just like zoned in and knew. ! Everything was spot on.
