Long Unpaved road right next to Pattie Electric. Weicht's apparently have been in business for years. They use to have lots of workers but Joe was telling me it's hard to keep honest people these days. They stay so busy working, that he really doesn't have time to talk to you on the phone. Just him and his Son and he likes it that way. Through the same text messaging system I've yet to get a solid date to bring my 700lb bull. Warning anything over 1200 they don't do. After lots of coordination and hauling the bull over. He told me he can't process it because it's a long horn and won't fit through the shoot. With indignation he screamed at my buddy. over there I told you referring to where he wanted the trailer backed up. He's done them before, but in this climate he gets to pick and choose who he wants to deal with. Then he begin to make threats as we were trying to figure out how we would have to pivot and now change our plans. That's the part where my Marine Corps instinct started to kick in. He said we gotta go and these dogs bite. Referring to the 30 or so dogs he had on the property barking and yelping. From the shed someone begin to scream obscenities, cursing, swearing and yelling for a good minute. I'm actually thankful we didn't decide to go with these guys, because I don't think he would even give us all our meat once it's all said and done. And there's a lot we could've said. Actually fell sorry for Joe and the fiasco operation they're running. He treated us worse than dogs and his Father from what I'm told would've never ever done that. Too Bad I guess you can do what you want when you have the Monopoly. I spent 23 years away from home for people just like Joe. Hope you get well, there's a God in Heaven watching what you're doing!

Joe and his son do an excellent job when given a quality animal to work with. I heard good things about this business from multiple people and used them to butcher and process a show steer from one of the many fairs canceled due to Covid 19. The meat we received was cut exactly as requested and was aged about 28 days. I have never had better steaks or hamburger and I received all the meat that I was expecting for the size and finish of the steer we provided. The only negative reviews and comments I have heard were from people that have no idea on the actual yield of market animals and took in animals that were not ready for Slaughter and had unreasonable expectations. I will use Weicht's for my family butcher and Slaughter needs in the future. I can't wait to see what they can do with a finished hog!
