good food and service not much on ambiance a little run down in desperate need of maintenance! Seems popular with local workers

The prices have gone up sadly -- so leave your paycheck at home because you're going to need it! But seriously though, the Cuban sandwiches and the fried shrimp parmesan spaghetti are 2 of my favorite meals here. Obviously I wish the prices were cheaper but this isn't the 1990's anymore and sadly the prices have sky-rocketed. The food is delicious though. Not that Sysco crap you get from other restaurants!5 stars -- I recommend but 1 last piece of advice -- ask them to double-fry their french fries for an extra 5 minutes -- it helps them more crispy and delicious!

Atmosphere: NEEDS a huge update and fresh paint! Very messy, boxed stuff laying around, dusty and dirty. Filthy carpet, tattered and torn table clothes are nasty! The music is so loud, you can hardly hear anyone talking at your table. Food: Everything needs seasoning! The onion rings have so little batter, it all fell off, its laughable!!! Starlight Burger ordered medium rare, ONLY the middle was cooked correctly, because there beef is frozen! NASTY burger!!! Their Soup special.. "Chicken Macaroni"...more like left over tomato soup with macaroni noodle and ONE tiny piece of chicken!!! The Fried Green Tomatoes and Fired Okra... ZERO seasoning in the batter. The tomatoes are so thin, its almost disappearing!!! Their fried chicken, again...tasteless, ZERO seasoning, nasty mash potatoes with watered gravy. The only decent food was their salad...STAY CLEAR AWAY from this hole in the wall, which is exactly what it is...with a back only entrance, shameful in every way!

We ordered takeout. Fried chicken was good. Smaller sides serving sizes at great prices. Who needs a ton of leftovers anyway. Definitely be back to try something different.

We happened upon this restaurant and we are so happy we did. You could drive right by if you don't know what you are looking for, it looks like a house.We knew we were in for a treat when we walked in and the place was full of locals and a Sheriff all chatting and clearly enjoying the food.We had to find a way to get a wheelchair through the tables and the entire restaurant and staff got up to clear a path for us.The food was scrumptious and I nearly licked my plate clean.EVERYTHING is homemade, meats are all cut here, never frozen. We had country fried steak, liver and onions, two burgers, chicken tenders and a pressed Cuban sandwich. The staff was wonderful.Highly recommend and we will definitely stop again if we are in the area! Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Today, I got the grilled chicken salad. Definitely the best grilled chicken salad hands down! The service is always great! The servers always make sure to keep your drinks filled & check on you often.

Good food at reasonable prices. The waitress was very good. Am anxious to try other items.

Good food and service. It has the small town ambiance that I love about Wauchula. Definitely a great place to eat for the whole family!

We sure were happy to have fried grouper from WFC tonight. Tasty and fresh. First take-out we have done with them and it was great! Coleslaw, fresh frenchfries and that big piece of grouper. Yum!
