This place is great. Very cool ambiance, although small and gets busy fast. The food selection is MASSIVE and has a wide influence of asian foods from Japanese to Chinese to Thai to sushi. What you see online as the menu isn't even close to their entire offering which they present in an iPad with menu photos. The food is excellent. The prices are comparable. The service has always been good. Hot sake is presented in a very unique way which we really enjoy.Overall, this is one of our new favorite spots in Tampa. Definitely give it a try.

Let's be real- fusion places suck. They're always really vibey and well decorated, but food is always half-assed. Oh look, we have sushi! And Ramen! And pho! No, what you have is a menu that suffers from ADD. Whether it's a small place like this or a Momosan, these fusion restaurants are never that good. Our group of 12 stopped here after a wedding ceremony because it was close to the church. We get in and see another large group, but the rest of the restaurant is empty. Told the wait is 10 mins. 45 mins later we get sat. Put in all our orders at once and then played the waiting game for an hour and a half until we finally said enough is enough and canceled the rest of the unfilled orders. All in all, we were here about 2.5 hours, not all of us got our entrees, and were late to the cocktail hour before our friend's reception due to a place where the food is mediocre at best... Or on par compared to every other fusion restaurant that has a large range and zero depth when it actually comes to the food.

I am obsessed with this place! The lettuce wraps were crunchy, the chicken pad Thai was perfect spice and the decorations inside were just the cutest! The service was quick and friendly. The inside was a nice vibe with my girlfriends. We will be back!

When we walked in we immediately got seated and the server was really nice, even though we didn't get his name. He was very tentative and gave us different pictures of food from the menu on an iPad; and asked us what we would like to drink. I got the butterfly tea, it wasn't too sweet and it changed from blue to purple when I squeezed the lime in it; which is so cool. I also ordered the lettuce wrap which was really airy and refreshing. We were brought out chicken dumplings that were included in lunch, super aromatic and delicious. My Lad Na was light and not over seasoned, the mango sticky rice was presented in a way I've never seen before, I can definitely say it's a nice upscale lunch paradise. The ascetics in the ambiance, the interior and the food is all vibes! I'd like to say this place is a hidden gem.

First time trying Wandee Asian Fusion and we were excited because they brought out an extensive menu with beautiful pictures. However, the food was alright. We tried the Laap Crispy Squid and Lettuce Wrap with Chicken and Crispy Pork for the appetizer. The Lettuce Wrap was delicious with plenty of meat. The Squid, however, was okay - it seemed like it was frozen because it was very chewy to me, but the flavor was good. It was my first time trying Laap flavored food. We also ordered Pork Pad Thai and Tofu Pad See Eew, which are basic Thai dishes, however the flavor for both were pretty weak. We had to add extra chili oil to get some flavor. The place itself is very cute and had a nice ambiance. The service was good but they were pretty slow.

After a week of eating out while on vacation in Washington DC, as soon as we landed we wanted to eat out again. With a suggestion from a local we were off to Wandee Asian Fusion. We walked into a very colorful place, Wow. The lighting was also part of the color explosion so my photos didn't come out well, but believe me this is quite the décor. We settled in. I'm not going to pretend I know much about what I picked, Pad Prew Wan, but an online search told me it was a Thai stir-fry sweet & sour dish. I selected pork as my protein. My food looked all shiny and inviting, and with snowball shaped rice in the corner, excellent plating. It tasted as good as it looked. I didn't really notice any sweet vs sour flavors (I wasn't really expecting anything dramatic), just very good stir-fry. I was very satisfied with my food.I wasn't very satisfied with the service. From start to finish they were just slow, inattentive, like we weren't important. The place wasn't busy, no one seemed to be doing much. Five stars for food, three for service.

Overall a very solid dinner with just a couple misses.I love the ambiance of this place. It's technicolor with a ton of fun decor. My sister travels around Asia a lot and a lot of the touches here remind me of pictures I've seen her take. It's definitely an instagram friendly place. The waitstaff could be a bit more attentive. We didn't get our papaya salad and it took forever for someone to come anywhere close to our vicinity for us to ask about it. We were basically done with our entire meal before someone came within earshot of us so we could grab them to ask. I really like their tablet that shows pictures of their seasonal food. The pictures are beautiful and really helps you understand what you're ordering. I thought that was a great touch. Here's what we got:Panang Curry with Beef - probably my least favorite. I found the beef kind of tough so I'd skip that as a protein next time. The curry was pretty good though.Duck Laab - my favorite. It was really flavorful and I liked the sticky rice side that it came with.Tom Yum Goong with Seafood - this was a great soup, we got it not spicy for me and I enjoyed the flavor.Pad See Ew with Squid - second favorite after the laab. The noodles were chewy and delicious and the squid was well cooked. Papaya Salad - would have been my favorite if they didn't overdo the shrimp paste. It was overwhelming. They brought it out way after all our dishes, so I think they forgot until we asked so I don't know if the dish was just sitting in shrimp paste. I'd give it another chance though, because I could see the potential.Mango Sticky Rice - I loved this. It was an amazing dessert and I'd highly recommend it. Parking is super easy, since this is in in a strip mall type area. I hope it does well, because I would definitely come back.
