Village Pub

Village Pub has been here forever but I never got a chance to stop in. I went the other night with my son and girlfriend who were visiting from Georgia. It is a great place to just grab a drink with friends. A VERY CLEAN pub! No stinky smoke smell. Bathrooms were clean! The bartender FELICIA WAS GREAT!! Very friendly and made great tasting dinks. Even had us stepping out of our comfort zone to dry new drinks! Noting fancy, but a good place with locals.

UPDATE...During the Covid shutdown, the owners went through a great expense updating the place. You can't smoke inside anymore but a large comfortable outdoor patio was added. Still a great place for a cold beer or cocktail on a hot Florida afternoon. A local crowd, everyone is friendly. The afternoon bartenders make you feel at home.

Love Debbie. She's amazing. Also love the ability to play songs. Really enjoy this place.

What can I say? Started out awesome, Attentive staff..Then scammers came in leveling accusations. I was escorted out of the property, regardless of the reasons b. The bouncer was nice, but this seems very familiar for downtown NPR, so beware.

Updated review...Can no longer smoke inside. I am a cigar smoker but... that is OK! The place is spotless. Owner Carmen has made the place an easy and enjoyable to have an ice cold beer or a decent cocktail. GM is Mike and he is hands on. The Florida heat is in high gear and the air conditioning in the Village Pub is the best. The owner spent a small fortune expanding the outside patio... more fans, large covered area, new pavers.Bartenders are attentive and the clientele is friendly. Most of all... beers and drinks are reasonable. I would recommend to anyone to stop in and have a drink whether local or just passing through.

The local dive does itself proud with well priced drinks and young local yokels running cray in a mask free establishment. Smoking outside is perfect for these town scoundrels

Re-done from the last time we were here and is now non smoking inside. THANK YOU!!!!!! Full liquor bar and decent drafts on tap. Bartender is nice but doesn't seem excited or happy to be there. When asked what one tapper was she said I don't know it is a mimosa. She offered a sample which had a bar fly in it. :( Which I quickly removed letting her know it was in there and her response was "they don't drink much." Again, :(. It was a strawberry orange mimosa sparkling ale. Let's go with orange juice with a note of sour on the end. It was really good. We asked her where it was from and she said I don't know I think Bud. This is where my assessment of her not wanting to be there or being excited about her job comes from. When you have customers asking questions and if you don't know the answer find out. Or at least try to. So, we looked it up locating the brewery as South Beach Brewery. Quite a leap from Bud. Even the guy sitting two seats down from me chimed in and said yep, that is what the tapper says. Wow, so the bartender was interested enough in our questions that she couldn't even read the tapper. Phenomenal customer service. :( In came the loud/obnoxious lady swearing like a sailor. I don't think I have heard the Bomb come out of someone's mouth so many times in one sentence. Only to yell out she drinks tequila with no chaser. And as she left proudly proclaiming she forces herself puking tonight. Wow, winner winner chicken dinner. You take the gold medal home for being classy. We tabbed out with the two drinks and paid the $9. We would return just because it is clean and non smoking. There are better places nearby to spend your money.

Great place to go out and unwind! Friendly bar tenders and patrons. Beer pong tournaments on tuesdays and they always do something intresting when a fest comes into town.

Service was the worst I've ever see, the bartender literally ignored me, took everyones order who came in before and after me. I just wanted to watch the game and have a good lunch.. I ended up going across the street. Thank you to the guy who tried to order for me. !
