This place is close by and I received their ad in the mail and decided to give them a shot since it was very near. It is located in the corner of a strip with other stores and parking can be a little hectic but you'll definitely find a parking spot. Carts are a bit odd to find since they don't have them at the entrance of the store so you either have to go outside and get a cart or find an empty one in the store.Produce selection was great, not the best variety but for cheap for sure!Cilantro and green onions were 2/$1 and that's a great find. Also limes were 10 for $1!!! That's an extreme rare find. I thought that was the best part of the store.When you get to the meat selection and butcher part of the store, you start smelling bleach. Where they use it, I don't know. My sister pointed out their ground beef and low and behold, the meat closest to us to the window was brown while the rest of the meat was red. I did not like what I saw at all. I don't like these places because their meat is all mixed in and I wonder how they really clean their meat selection when it's rotten or how do they know? I stayed away from the meat selection but the produce section has gotten me blown away. I would return just for that reason and not any other.

Horrible supermarket !!!!! Come here if you want spend a night in the hospital with food poisoning. I went in to purchase some meat. When he picking up the two pieces of meat I had chosen a dead fly was right under the piece of meat. When I informed the employee he just said ohhhh and he proceeded to place the meat right on top of the dead fly.

Tried to check in here the other day and it was erroneously listed as "business closed". Far from it, and the prices on the meats were great!Even some of the staple items, like pasta sauce, rivaled some big block stores. Amazing since this place is off the beaten path.Boneless chicken breast ran me under $2 a pound, which is a great price point. I also picked up a thin porterhouse for around $6/lb. The spice selection here is extensive, leaning toward Latino and Mexican dishes / spice combinations. First place I've ever seen blackened seasoning - been looking everywhere for it!There's a small alcohol section as well, includes wine and beer.

This is where I go for meat. It's a half to a third of the price of the big stores. Veggies are usually good, but sometimes on the extra ripe side. If you eat them quick, you'll be good.They have everything you need to cook. What they don't have, is a bunch of pre-made meals in a box. You know, the just-add-water type stuff. They do have a small frozen foods section, canned section, and a little bit of junk food here and there, but not much. This place is all about the meat, and they do the meat right!It's not the cleanest of grocery stores, and the staff aren't the most customer service oriented people, but I always get in and out quickly, and save tons on the meats.If you are looking to stock up your freezer, or throw a BBQ, this is the place to get the hookup on the meat!Meat.

The only thing I don't like is that they say their meats and seafood are fresh when in reality they aren't they are Frozen!!!So that right there is False advertisement!!I had asked one of the guys why do they say Fresh when it's not and his answer was.......to attract people to come in and buy!!And their prices are ok at timesI only go for the specials sometimes!!And yes I do Compare prices all the time!!

I love this place! I love the fact that I can load my freezer with meat that is good for almost next to nothing. The specials here are ridiculous. Don't get me wrong this is not Burns quality meats but on a budget it can't be beat by any box store. I can get 5lbs of end cut chops on sale for 6.99, t bone steaks 2 inch thick for 3.99 a pound, fresh chicken breasts for 1.69 a pound.This place is a little expensive if your looking for name brand groceries (mayo, ketchup, etc) but some stuff is cheap. Got a GIANT bottle of hot sauce for 3$, at walmart a smaller bottle was 3.50$. The produce is cheap to. Some of it looks a little beat but all in all its a great deal. 5 pounds of potatoes for 99 cents. GIGANTIC sweet potatoes!!! They have deli meat, never ordered any and almost everything you could want. My friends think I am nuts but when they come over for a BBQ they cant find anything to complain about.

I live in Apollo Beach, this is the least expensive...BEST MEAT MARKET around!!! The meat is always fresh, and the meat counter line LONG! The pay off is the high quality meats, the low price, and the friendly staff. This is bulk packaging to order, I always make sure to have zip top bags to separate into freezer safe containers, for my family sized portions.Example of what I call a deal: NY strip steaks are always $3.99 or $4.99 PER POUND!The are very thick, I stick'm in the freezer for 30 minutes or so (makes it easier to cut), then cut them in half...length wise.You can also count on a great deal for what's in season in the produce dept. Last week I bought avocados for .88 CENT each! There is also always a great deal on potatoes! FRESH IN SEASON VEGGIES AT A GREAT PRICE!Milk and eggs are also the best price I've found in Tampa Bay.The only flaw i can find is, some of the can foods are a little high.

Prices are nice but gotta watch what they give you... got 2 pounds of beef short ribs and got all bones! Could of at least have me one decent one like they had on display!!!

Love this place like all others be selective but the price is right and overall products are good
