Okay, so recently there was a change in menu, and I must admit, I'm mixed...I understand why, but I won't get into that here. So, let's start with this: Forget everything you think you know about Urban Root's food selection based on what I've shown in my last review. That has changed drastically. Seasonal Soups are still the same but the main menus are completely different now.Granted, there's still a lot on here that is unique so I'm not gonna be too critical, but still...I'm a bit skeptical. On one hand, it feels like its a much more efficient and appeals to a more general audience, which I don't find fault with...But at the same token, it also feels like it went from being unique to attempting to be mainstream, and I feel that's a mistake. So, I tried their Triple cheese and shroom...Hard pass from me. The 3X wings were okay, but honestly it felt unoriginal and a bit dry for me...Didn't really like them too much. I didn't deduct any stars for that though because that's only two of many, many items from the shareables I've yet to try, and because there's a lot I wish to try from this new menu (particularly the pork belly).Having said that, I will give it credit where it's due. The menu is far more organized, and that Grown-up grilled cheese was to die for; The tomatoes gave it a sweet spin on the grilled cheese, but combined with the savory of the tomato soup? The quality and creativity of that is enough to rival the Turkey Burger they once served here (I'll definitely miss that, however...)The people and ambiance is still fantastic, and the drink menu appears to be the same, so no issues there! I'm still highly skeptical of this new, slightly mainstream menu they've brought in, but I'll approach it with an open mind regardless.I look forward to my next arrival at Urban Roots to try their pork belly and other shareables in spite of all else.

Amazing restaurant for lunch/brunch with the girls. The inside is beautiful and they even have a patio and bar outback. Menu was pretty large with options for vegan and gf. Dinner menu also looked great. Service was good. Overall good experience and I will be back.

The farm to table food & drinks were delicious! Great ambiance and friendly service. As an extension of their local coffee shop named Urban Grounds, coffee and cocktails are available at this new spot.

A NYC/LA urban vibe in Tarpon with great food and outstanding service. We had great apps (tapas) and the drinks were serious, the bartender know his stuff. Try it, you won't regret it!

Went with a friend of mine, who was in town visiting. Our food was amazing although my mediterranean breakfast bowl with a perfectly cooked egg over roasted, root vegetables could've used just a tiny bit more bacon jam I did ask for extra jam but it was a little pricey so I decided against. The ambience is wonderful. Our server, Rebecca was great. Definitely will go back! Reminds me of a fabulous restaurant in Phoenix, only better!

Wanted to grab a bite before enjoying First Friday with the Black Honkeys and this was our second visit to Urban Eats and it was even more amazing. First let's start with service it was great again and it's nice to see the servers knowledge of the food and drinks. We shared the hummus platter, duck wings and lamb skewers all were delicious. For our main we had the Wild Mushroom risotto, the Brad and bulgogi beef lettuce wraps everything was outstanding. The drink menu is very nice with non alcoholic drinks available. The expresso martini using tequila was delicious. We highly recommend it and love this cozy restaurant addition to our downtown!

Wow what a great find. It's been open for just two weeks and they are killing it with service and their food. I had the beet salad with tuna as an extra and the cauliflower soup. Beat salad was gorgeous with dark greens and was a perfect amount of dressing not too heavy or sweet. The soup, just wow you have to try it. Bacon and carmelized onions I didn't want the bowl to end. So glad it is in Tarpon downtown, a new favorite!

Great vibe! Good food. No free refills for a smaller glass of ginger ail with mostly ice - we weren't warned there were no free refills until we got the check. We should not have just assumed. Also the vanilla Greek yogurt parfait - was regular yogurt - not Greek.
