Had the pleasure of attending 3rd Annual THHI breakfast for a cause held at the event venue in One Tampa City Center housed in the heart of downtown Tampa with a breathtaking view of Tampa Bay. The Club has numerous private event spaces of varying sizes available for meetings and entertaining for consideration. The staff is experienced and able to customize your event to your exact specifications of which include several amenities included in-house wireless internet and audio/visual equipment. The University Club of Tampa is top tier and committed to personalized service that is warm, welcoming, efficient and professional.

I went there for an alumni event. It was a gorgeous view. They were serving appetizers and drinks. The service was very professional. I had some shrimp that was great. However I give such a low score because they served the weirdest dish, it was a tiny pice of toast with a piece of think room temperature piece of lunch meat with a single mandarin orange on top. It was gross. Also, they were quick to give me my first glass of wine but when I gave the waitress the empty glass later, she didn't ask if I wanted another and it took over 20 Minutes to get her attention for another.

This is a beautiful venue with an amazing view of Tampa. They will be hosting our Schools for Haiti annual fundraiser dinner and auction. They have done a great job working with us to make sure the evening is a great success. This included sampling several of their delicious dishes. I would highly recommend them.

Perched atop downtown Tampa on the 38th floor, the University Club has terrific views of Tampa and the surrounding area. I was there for a Inn of court meeting on a Wednesday night. As mentioned the venue is pretty spectacular, with windows galore for guests to take in the spectacular view. Dinner is served at the event I went to and included salad, bread, the main course with fish vegetables and mashed potatoes, and what looked to be a very delicious piece of cake. All the food was very tasty. The servers at the university club are on top of their game, keeping glasses filled, keeping plates coming and going, and being on the spot with coffee at the end of dinner. The whole experience at the University Club was a good one.I'm not sure if you can come here on your own without an invitation, but if you are invited to something and it is at the University Club, you should consider attending simply for the experience of the view from the 38th floor.

It's hugely disappointing to be at Tampa's University Club and get bullied and intimidated by "a member," who was an obese man wearing an "86" Lightening jersey, only to have the manager side on behalf of "the member," who was so intoxicated that borderline assault was acceptable. I've never been treated like this in my life, and I don't expect to be. I have never experienced a social organization endorsing severe public intoxication, intimidation, and bullying like the University Club of Tampa did tonight. I was shamed by a small man on the staff and forced to leave when I reported the inappropriate behavior, and I hope the business will do better to prioritize civility and decency over profit. Oh, and Tampa's police was involved in this despicable decision too. When I reported to the officer on duty, Officer Ortiz-Saldana, that the man was standing over me at my table and intimidating me, he told me I "was causing trouble." He also got angry when I photographed his name badge, falsely telling me the action was unacceptable. Bravo.
