I went here for the first time yesterday to buy Laredo Coffee. Upon entering I immediately smell cooked food. Followed my nose to the back of the store and was rewarded with an array of excellent looking foods. I purchased octopus salad, bacalao salad and pickled green bananas. What a feast for my husband and I. Everything was delish. Will be back next week to try some additional Treats.

This is a latin based supermarket. Apparently based from my Puerto Rican Colleagues this place is way cheaper than shopping at Bravo's Supermarket.I came in here because I hear their deli is great for Spanish Food for lunch! So I came in a few minutes before 12pm and there was not a long line compared to what I have been hearing (15 mins wait etc) - I got in for my order withing 2-3 minutes. Its a "lechonera" type deli with glass windows to see the array of foods they serve piping hot. You can choose between a small lunch plate for $3.50 or a large between $5-$6.I chose the large plate lunch of rice, spanish oxtails for $6.00 - They serve you a heaping of your choice of arroz con gandules or white rice and about 6 oxtails meat. One thing is it does comes with red beans and its FREE if you have it served in the SAME container as with your food plate. If you want it on the side they will charge you 50 cents (i am assuming just for the container part of it to hold the beans) in which it lost a STAR for me on this rating.I had leftovers of about 3 oxtails left once I stuffed my face with this lunch entree! The sauce imo was a tad bit salty and the oxtails where large but cut kind of thinner than what I expect from other spanish places..yet it was still so tender.I would def go back and try thier roasted chicken because it looked like they were selling lots of those and kept refilling the hot tray. One thing I had also noticed they have freezer cases of what I use to call in my country "Ice candies" in which these were in array of flavors of tamarind, coconut, raspberry, etc.. Unsure how much they costs but I will come back and try next time! This place gets really busy during lunch hour due to the many variety of spanish entrees and the value you get for the amount of food you will be served with!

We spent $200 on catering from unidos poinciana,Ordered a week in advance, our time for pickup was 12 pm. My husband arrived at 12:15...they told him they were "still cutting up the meat". They did not have the food ready until 1:45 pm. The party we needed the food for started at 1:30. How embarrassing. No apologies from unidos. Their reasoning "the ladies who put that together went to lunch and didn't tell anyone else". I suggest not ordering catering through this location.

Great selection of Latin products from south and South America as well as Caribbean. The fruits and veggies are also very fresh... I personally enjoy buying their pre-packed herbs and fruits. They also offer a great lunch special. They also have. A bakery on site, so you indulge in fresh angled Cuban and Puerto Rican bread.

Unidos is the local neighborhood market down the street. If and when I do need items, I can count on them to provide me the basics for what I'm looking for. The place is a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Upon entering, produce is on your right, deli in the middle, and drinks on the left. Of course there are aisles of items, but that's too much work to describe! Produce is hit or miss, but when you do get a hit, it's a winner! An example was 10 limes for $1, whoa! The deli has a hot and cold bar. The food items ranged from roasted chicken, pernil, octopus salad, rice, etc. Make sure you a take a look at their hand written signs for specials! It's nice to have an alternative for when I'm too lazy to drive all the way to Publix down the road!

The food they make daily is amazing. Everyone who works here are extremely welcoming. Nothing but good vibes. You can get a fool meal here for under $5 if you buy the small lunch plate. The prices on their products are fairly average. Don't forget to try their Dominican cakes! Also good. Hope this can help -

For the second time the cakes were old, i dont see the need to lie to customers i asked if this time they were fresh and the dishonest server said yes, i will never go back, horrible experience! !
