Umami Sushi

The sushi is always so fresh and the chicken fried rice is delicious. Service is always great.

This is always my go-to for lunch if I'm craving sushi. There lunch sushi special is awesome and you have a a choice of 2 sushi rolls or 3 with soup OR salad. Ingredients always taste fresh and service is pretty decent. I've gotten food to go a couple times and it tastes just as good as if you're sitting in the restaurant. It's not the BEST sushi in tampa but it is really good!

Absolutely 5 Stars. If I could give 7 stars I would. If you follow me on Yelp or have read any of my reviews, service is important to me. Service was perfect. I had the Sushi Dinner which was was 9 Nigiri and a Tuna roll. I also had a Yellow Tail Hand roll and Surf Clam nigiri. Also included Soup and Salad. My wife had 2 rolls, a Volcano roll where she substituted shrimp for tuna. She does not eat raw fish and a Rock N Roll roll. She said it was the best Volcano roll she has since Kaisen sushi in Carrollwood closed. She also had the Gyoza soup which I tasted and it was amazing. I will have to have that next time. Having been to many Sushi restaurants and this one was is the best. The environment is great and the sushi was absolutely delicious. They have nice flavor and very appetizing. The Rolls were so fresh and very appetizing. You can't go wrong with the sushi. All of the fish is fresh and you can go wrong. The service was timely and professional. Would visit again.

Fresh and great tasting sushi, their Coconut shrimp is delicious! Their fried rice is also very good.

Searching for some sushi, while I was in Tampa for work. Reviews for Usami sushi were really strong so I thought we would give it a whirl .I'm really glad I did. Service was fabulous, in the menus had some really interesting items on it..But would you really want to know about the food:Crab Rangoon - excellent appetizer Volcano - not sure why it is called volcano, but it came with spicy tuna and avocado.Coconut Shrimp - wow, amazing.Rock n Roll - favorite of the table, shrimp tempura, cream cheese, crab and topped with eel sauce.Dale Mayberry Roll - same as Rock n Roll but with smoked salmon. Really a delightful place to eat.

The inside of the place is really nice, the service is good and fast, I was there around 3pm on Sunday and the restaurant was full in about 20 min. I tried some sushi rolls and they were DELICIOUS, I love sushi is this one is on my top 5 in Tampa right now. (The drinks are not the best)

The sushi was fresh, and the fish was really good. I tried the tuna and salmon, both were solid. The rolls were well made, and everything tasted good together. The staff was friendly, and the place had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it's a good spot for sushi and I'd definitely go back.

This was a delicious resturant and I enjoyed it a lot with my family! Great service, ambiance and food! Highly recommend!
