Umami Sushi. Hibachi

Came here on a Wednesday while I was in town for work. My brother recently moved to the area and we decided to grab a casual dinner. We pulled up to Umami around 6:00 at night to a full parking lot. We parked in the overflow lot in the back because their general parking lot was crowded. It's really nice that they have the extra capability for people to park because the lot associated with their stripmall is on the small side.We walked in and they have patio seating. It was rainy so we decided to sit inside, but there were brave people who were seated on the patio. Inside was busy, too. The vibe was upbeat, a good spot for a casual date night or sushi night with friends. They can accommodate larger groups but also attentive to smaller parties.We sat down and ordered a drink. My brother ordered a water and I was desperate to try their diet coke. It was crisp, just how I like it! We looked at the menu and saw all you can eat sushi. No brainer.We ordered 5 rolls each - All of which were freshly made. They were quick, too. I haven't had squid salad in awhile and decided to order two, it was so good! Their rainbow rolled contained all fresh fish. I ordered their fried ice cream for dessert (not sure how), and it was also delicious. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

We got an order to be delivered and we only got three things, tuna roll the tuna tasted sour and smelled and tasted bad, the ell and the Mexican roll. The were ok but for sure won't try them again.I hate ordering from a new place because you don't know how fresh things are and if they get rid of two, three day old fish.Would not go again

Coming all the way from Tampa, it's so worth the drive! The sushi rolls are made to order, plated nicely, and enjoyed quickly. No one can beat AYCE sushi from here. I think the price was $35.99 per person for dinner. There's also a slightly lower price for the lunch option! I came here with a friend and we ordered six signature rolls to share, two bowls of soup, two soups, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, salad with ginger dressing, some sashimi, sesame balls, takoyaki, and some ice cream! It sounds like a lot of food, because it definitely was a lot of food.

If you love sushi this spot is for you. All you care to eat, freshly made to order sushi. Service was unbelievably fast. Food is incredibly delicious. Nice ambiance, beautiful restaurant and clean.

I visited Umami with a group of 12 for a birthday. They sat us immediately when 75% of our group had arrived. This all you can eat restaurant has orders and food service down to a technological science. The moment you order, the food goes into a computer and someone is being it out in minutes like 2 minutes. It's nuts.I did like most of the food I tried but I did not enjoy the sushi rolls. I ordered three specialty rolls to split with my husband and did not want to eat any of it. The appetizers and the sashimi are good and worth trying many items. I would go back if I was invited again.

This is our last year in Florida and we wanted our last New Year's Eve to all go out together and enjoy a meal before heading back home for some fun family time. We got there and were seated outside it's a nice day so why not, plus we had two small kids with us so it's best to be outside. Our waitress was awesome! Her name was Natalie and she was very attentive and she was understand of our niece who was very energetic and standing on the bench lol. She made sure our drinks and food came out at a timely manner. Thank you to that waitress it's the simple things honestly and her just being understanding and also very chill, helped a lot. Happy new years everyone!

All u can eat sushi n rolls for $22 lunch $27 dinnerSuper tasty and great service. High quality fish and nice variety of beers. Green tea ice cream for dessert. Will be back for sure!

Update.... Nobody from Unami ever contacted me about this issue.... The customer service is absolutely horrible! Make sure to pay cash, or they will steal from you.. Make sure you check your credit card statement for an increase in charges.. Absolute Thieves!

This place has the best sushi roll ever! The perpetual love! it's a must. I also had yellowtail ponzu, gyoza and fried cheesecake. My server Jordan was the best! He took a good meal to the next step with his wonderful service.

Tried it yesterday and it was an overall great experience. While I don't proclaim to be a sushi maven my friends are highly experienced and they gave it top ratings. Fresh made to order with fresh ingredients. Huge choices available on both the lunch menu and the even more expansive (and reasonably more expensive) dinner menu which adds sashimi and other choices. My friend got a lot of sashimi and gave it high marks. My personal favorite was thin sliced tuna lightly seared and a coating of fresh cracked pepper. The perfect beginning and end to our meal. Lest I forget this is very reasonably priced all you can eat but far, far superior to sushi or something like what you would get on a Chinese buffet. This is not a buffet. Table service and freshly made to order but in full rolls. Some items like sashimi are by the piece when ordering but not limited. Not as much waste that way. The part that took this to a whole new level was our server. Jacqueline. Ask for her. Very knowledgeable, made informed and personalized recommendations, and generally an overall nice and really fun person to have take care of us. Add on top of that she and the other staff were speedy and highly on top of things like cleaning plates, refills, etc. The manager Nina also was very pleasant to interact with and on top of things. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and pleasantly not loud. Apologies but I can't comment personally on the restrooms but my friends said nothing so I'm sure they were clean and tidy. Will be back without hesitation and that's my highest compliment with so many choices down here.
