Umami Smoke

Umami smoke delivers on all levels Great price and great food. The bam bam sauce is spicy but has a great flavor. The brisket was great the chicken quarter was huge and the burger bomb definitely delivered! Umami is the best.

I got the deconstructed sandwich of beef brisket, potato salad, kimchee, comes with flatbread. The sauce I got was sweet Thai chili sauce which he makes. We Al's got another order of brisket with, flatbread, collards, and macaroni and cheese with the chipotle sauce. We also tried the leg quarter, flatbread, and candied sweet potatoes. All of this came up to $23.00 Everything was good. It's like Asian meets down south cuisine. It's unique flavors and it's good flavors that grow as you eat. The kimchee is hot, and full flavored. I kept dipping my bread into the chipotle sauce and cleaned the cup it came in. Next time I go I want to try the grilled tofu. I am by no means a vegetarian but when tofu is cooked right it can be delicious. I want to see if it's done right, because the rest of the food he cooks is pretty good. You will have to call to find out where he is set up, he is in a food truck, Plant City isn't too big of a city.
