Turnpike is the absolute best! We ordered the big Sam's omelette and steak and eggs, coffee, Stella, and pineapple mimosa. The food looked amazing, came out so quickly, and the best part is our server was an absolute gem. Cammie is the greatest! The temp on the steak wasn't what we wanted and she resolved the issue quickly and without making us feel like we'd goofed. I really appreciate her energy and kindness! The space is so cute in decor, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating options. I can't wait to come back!!!

Mediocre food for people with no taste pallet. Spring Hill being filled with elderly retirement people I do expect the food to be a little bland or maybe even unseasoned but I can name about 10 other places I'd rather eat at than this place. I ordered a the RIBEYE STEAK for dinner and was met with dissatisfaction when I got my food and seen a small pork chop looking piece of meat that my 4 year old could eat and still be hungry after. As I take a bite I noticed it seems like they grabbed this piece of meat from the freezer and just started cooking it. Alfredo pasta was also ordered and this arrived at the table in a pool of oil and Alfredo sauce. This item was returned to the kitchen and replaced with maybe the easiest and tastiest item on their menu...... a cheeseburger. Maybe it's the cook? Maybe it's the "New" 2024 owner? This place has great food and the portions are much larger than the chain restaurants. It's a locally owned place and the place is not large. Service is fast and very reasonably priced. A must if you are looking for great home cooked type food. Highly recommend

First time here. Found out they have new owners and menu. Can't compare it to the old one. I had the southern chicken sandwich and it was soooo good. Has coleslaw and remoulade on it. Fries were crispy and yummy. My husband had the fish/chips also very good. They serve Pepsi, but I'll let that slip as their tea is really good. Service was excellent and fast. I can't wait to come back.

This was our first time here since it changed ownership. It was very good! I had the special: chicken florentine with broccoli and mashed potatoes. My wife had the chicken gouda that was served with broccoli and mashed potatoes as well. We both chose the vegetable soup instead of a salad. Everything tasted great. The bread that's brought to the table is awesome!!! Fresh and perfectly toasted! We ordered dessert to go. They serve nice size portions. Our server, Autumn, was nice, friendly and helpful. She explained the menu and what she likes and what is ordered a lot. We'll definitely go back to try breakfast and lunch.

This restaurant just got new owners so we were anxious to see if it was still as good . Well it sure is ! Menu is a bit different but everything we had was delicious . Gatlinburg had bacon , cheddar and cooked exactly as I ordered with hot crispy fries . Hubby had a Giavanni ( Italian sub ) he said it was terrific and had delicious sweet potato fries . Service was good . Waitress had lots of customers but she handled it well .

Uniquely Good. That pretty much sums it up. From the minute you open the door, till time to pay the check, nothing is what you expect coming to this family diner. Cook puts their own take on what a dish should be and they do a great job of it. Everyone feels like a friend from around the block. Small, cozy, and personable restaurant. Notice I called it a restaurant, diner doesn't do it justice.

We've ordered a couple of times and haven't been disappointed. But this last time was exceptional. We got a fish sandwich/fries and a Philly/fries. We picked our lunch up. It was ready when we got there, and still piping hot when we got home. Over all it was delicious!!!! Please give them a try, I doubt you'll regret it! Truthfully it's even better now than when they opened under previous management!! Thank you Turnpike!

New owners. The service was terrific and the food was outstanding! Food with flavor. The portions will require you to loosen your belt. We liked the food before the new ownership. Now we love the food. Portions will require take home box. Give this place a try. New hours T-Saturday 8a to 8p. Wow! My favorite restaurant in Spring Hill!!!
