Very welcoming space, great signage, looks like a really cool place with the bar on one side and the kitchen on the other.Comfortable seats, did not try the bathrooms.Gina was great, and the hostess gave me a four top because I needed a booth.Triple filtered water tasted very good, ordered the blackened cauliflower and the squash soup, as well as the double vegan burger.Everything was beautiful, delicious, and filling. The soup was hot, the figs in the cauliflower were amazing, and the lettuce and pickled onions in the burger were fantastic. If I'm going to complain about one thing, it's that there is a lot of salt. Thank goodness the kale salad on the side of the burger was raw with just a tiny bit of oil and vinegar.Would love to go back for dessert or a pizza. Highly recommended!

This True Food Kitchen is located in an upscale part of Tampa, near a Ballard Designs store and a Ben & Jerry's, and next to a little turf park that showed videos that some tweens were dancing along with. We found parking on the street. There was indoor and outdoor seating. Bathrooms were outside, around the corner. We ordered a couple of Plant-based Double Cheese Burgers to go because we were pressed for time. Despite it being around 2 pm, the burgers were ready 15 minutes or more after the time promised, and when we opened the bag, we realized our salads that were supposed to come with the burgers were not there. The burgers themselves were just okay, kind of dry and crunchy around the edge. Overall, this wasn't the best experience, and I'm sorry but $45 is too much to pay for two just okay plant-based burgers.

This place has a lot of healthy options and serves a full bar and has happy hour. I do think that it is overpriced for what you are actually getting. The bowls are already pricey do not come with any protein and to add chicken is nearly $8 extra. The burger is probably the best bang for your buck. That being said, the food itself was tasty and the service was good. If I were to come back, it would be for happy hour. The space is designed very nice as well.

Another recent visit on the day after New Years Day. I just wanted to share the new entrees ordered from their Happy Hour Menu and Seasonal Menu:- Pomegranate Spritzer (GF)- Roasted Butternut Squash Soup (GF)- Seasonal Market Salad with Salmon (GF)My friend had the Blueberry 75 Mocktail, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, and had a few bites of my salad & salmon. I loved my selections and how I was able to enjoy delicious, gluten-free, healthy food outside of my home! I can't wait for their next seasonal menu.

Went here for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant had very nice natural light from all the windows. We did have to wait about 10 mins for a server to take our drink order. For my meal I had the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti squash and a cup of Squash soup. The chicken parm was delicious and fresh. I'm not sure what it was about the soup but I really didn't like the flavor. Our server was very friendly. We parked in the garage around the corner from the restaurant and it is free parking.

I usually try to go to local restaurants when I'm on vacation, but I am always up for True Food Kitchen. They have several vegan options, and everything I've tried has been delicious. The butternut squash pizza and cookie a la mode were both amazing. I need to learn how to make that almond ricotta at home because it's some of the best vegan cheese I've ever had. I didn't even wish it was real cheese! Also, our server was super nice, and I appreciate that they have a lot of non-alcoholic fancy drinks.

Came back here because it is one of the few spots that offers gluten free breakfast items for Saturday/Sunday brunch. I ordered the gluten free pancakes with berry compote. What startled me is how my order came out in literally five minutes. Normally, this is a turn off as I question if it has just been sitting out waiting for someone to order it but my pancakes were fresh, warm and delicious! For folks with special food allergies or requests, I highly recommend this location!

I made a Yelp just for this and I don't usually leave reviews but this place is truely a gem. Location is convenient. The food and atmosphere are great and the staff are phenomenal. From walk in to walk out. The Hostess, Janette, the young lady who took my order, i believe she said her name was Kerny? She was very informative and Chanise guaranteed me the my dietary restrictions were taken into heavy consideration. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family

First off I want to say that the food here is truly amazing. And the staff is super warm and accommodating. I ordered to go. The girl who took my order, I can't remember her name, she had blue hair. She was the absolute sweetest! I will be back.
